What are the chances that he was taken from one hell hole and put into another one, arguably worse than the first one?
This is a strong and terrifying story of exactly what a parent should NOT be and how one little boy defied the odds.

Something a bit different!
A real laugh out loud read! One of those "it's funny because it's true!"
I think that most mum's can relate to most of this book and can appreciate the sarcasm and fun behind the main character.
Would recommend for any parent or soon to be parent, I don't have children but I still found this highly amusing and relatable!
Warning - do not read or listen to when you are in public by yourself and you will look like a crazy person when you randomly burst into fits of laugher! Also don't recommend reading while drinking tea... unless you want it to come out of your nose!

The frustration I feel from watching this film is steaming off of me. This film is basically Parent Trap but with actual twins and far less talented ones at that. Lindsey Lohan was able to play an American and a British version of herself for the Parent Trap and blew Mary-Kate and Ashley out of the park - literal twins. This film was predictable from the beginning and it was kind of frustrating. It seems like the off-brand you buy at the store because name brands are too expensive and not always worth it. In this case, I'd take the name brand any day.

"This graphic memoir is about becoming an artist, repression, liberation, death, the dichotomous feelings between parent and child… “Fun Home” takes you on a journey into the rich murkiness of Bechdel’s past. The fusion of her writing and illustrative skill make for a singularly vivid encounter. Devastating, hilarious, inspiring."
