This is a lovely book. It shows how her parents dealt with their little girls death. It shows the process of how each person who loved Asia began healing.

It also helps other parents who had to deal with loss. What a way to celebrate a child's life in the best way. It talks about the foundation they created in her name.

It references Asia saying's though out the book. It surely amazing that what Asia said to her parents or mother came true as Asia had known she be leaving this world.

I really enjoyed it. It sure has the history of that day. It tells the story of September 11, 2001. It is told in a way a parent loses someone special. The children are more loss to any parents and this book is meant to help them deal with it.

Amazing Family Movie

Beautifully written story about a family dealing with the ugly of the world. A son who's born with a disfigured face has to deal with criticism from his peers while trying to maintain as much normalcy as possible, which isn't easy when strangers (and "friends") only want to stare and talk about him. Love and bravery overcome the trials in what is all too familiar in America today - it may not always be a noticeable disfigurement, but just being "different" from your neighbor can create hatred and ugliness that isn't necessary. This movie is about seeing with your heart instead of your eyes. I would recommend that EVERY parent with children who wants to raise them to love and respect others watch this together. This will forever be one of my all-item favorites.

This book was great! I won it through the Goodreads pre-release program and received it in the mail just a few days prior to its release to the public. The story focuses on Jolene, her family and her friendship with Tami and her family. Jolene and Tami are helicopter pilots in the Guard, raising their families on the West Coast and neighbors. Jolene's husband is an attorney and they have two daughters. Jolene's husband does not approve of the war and thinks it's something that is happening "over there" and not something that affects us here in America. Until Jolene and Tami get deployed and he has to reconfigure his entire life to be a single parent while Jolene is gone. This is a wonderful story that is beautifully told and I highly recommend it.

All time favorite book

Beautiful, honest, heart breaking. If you want to understand someone who grew up living with a mentally unstable drug addict parent or two this is the book you should read. This book shows all the ugly underbelly of living life like that and anyone who hasn't had to live like that should thank their lucky stars. I know many people despise and feel very much like Brenda does about Wavy's relationship with Kellen. Wavy was more mature then her mother and father so to say that she wasn't old enough to make that decision is taking Wavy's power away from her. She was smart, willful and she knew exactly what she was doing. Anyone who truly understands this story will understand their relationship. This will be one of my all time favorite books.

Brilliant!! So many books write their female leads to be hot single women this was so refreshing to have a female lead with a normal life, the daily struggles as a parent, then she kicks ass in the supernatural world too. It was so well written and such an enjoyable read. I'm definitely rooting for Malcolm in this one and can't wait to discover more now Kendall has her memories back!
