Maybe a more apt title for this film is 'Mission: Impossible-Murphy's Law'. Everything seems to go wrong.
Paula Patton was kind of awful in this, I just wanted her scenes to end. Her acting is eye-roll inducing.
The villain was practically non-existent, I felt like the film was more focused on the team. There's definitely nothing wrong with that.
I'm glad they made Simon Pegg part of the permanent(ish?) cast, because the rest of the characters take themselves too seriously.
Now, I don't particularly like Tom Cruise, because I'll never forget the weird Oprah couch-jumping thing. But, you have to give it to the dude when he does some crazy stunt work, I definitely respect the dude in that aspect.
