I remember that, in 2013 the song 'Let it Go' was everywhere,

And I do mean everywhere.

Which is perhaps why I never actually saw this movie at all, thinking it wasn't for me, until it was shown on TV over the Christmas period.

This is based loosely on the Hans Christian Anderson tale 'The Snow Queen', and introduces the characters of Anna and Elsa as well as Christoph, Sven and (of course) Olaf, who continues the Disney comic-relief tradition of stealing nearly every scene he is in.

Lots have also been made over the years about how it replaces the typical Disney convention of true love between a Prince and a Princess with that between two sisters: this is true, while it does also make room for a more conventional romance sub-plot to bubble along underneath.

What would you do if on the day of your beloved father's funeral, you find evidence to suggest he was the serial killer known as Gemini? A serial killer who was responsible for the horrendous and vicious deaths of numerous young women spanning a significant period of time.

What would you do?

In The Killer's Family we follow the story of the 3 sisters who discovered the devastating evidence and the impact this has on their lives and their relationships with each other and then everything is turned on its head when Gemini strikes again ... and again ...

Who really is Gemini?

This is a dark story with a number of twists that I found riveting and would recommend to lovers of this genre.

Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for my copy in return for an honest, unbiased and unedited review.

Compilation issue, collecting Marvel's 'main-line' Star wars graphic novels, issues 12-18, and set during the period between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi (Han frozen in Carbonite, Luke has fought - and lost to - Vader, etc).

It also crosses-over with the 'War of the Bounty Hunters' collection of comics.

That much is obvious.

What was not so obvious, however - and I had no idea prior to reading this - is that it must cross over with some of the other Star Wars properties: I'm guessing Darth Vader for one. The reason I say that? I found it a bit jarring jumping from 'Vader's arrived!' in one issue to seeing rebels flee in the next, without any context of why or what had happened except for a few speech bubbles referencing events that I hadn't read!
