Fourth St Trinian's film is a knockabout farce which has not aged at all well. Crooks hide the loot from a train robbery (such things were topical at the time) in a disused building, which is then taken over by St Trinian's school as their new premises. Can the villains retrieve the swag without anyone noticing?

Notably pragmatic (to the point of ruthlessness) in pursuit of its gags: there is shotgun satire of politicians, civil servants, the private school system, and various topical issues (there are some very dodgy jokes about immigration and racial minorities). Even more cartoony than a Carry On film, and increasingly frantic as it goes on, it does have a remarkable cast of well-known faces from British films of its period, but the jokes are thinner on the ground than one might hope for given the talent involved. Has a certain historical interest these days but it's awkward to watch as much as entertaining.

This is fine, hardly anything of substance but cute enough. Literally not sure at all what this has on 𝘐𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘔𝘢𝘯 apart from the lavish period visuals - which are splendid of course - but even those don't look quite as nice as those found in 𝘞𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘭, which is also the better movie coincidentally. Normally I'm averse to the Old Hollywood era aesthetic which at this point has been recycled into oblivion - but this makes it feel alive and homey and again, for what that's worth. Unfortunately that also seems to be the only thing keeping this afloat as this aggressive non-story leads to tiring predictability, listless dialogue, "eh, they've done better" sorts of performances, flat characters, and a romance that strains after the first half hour. Things just happen whenever they feel like, and nothing is truly given its due time so nothing feels worth the time we have to put into it. A nice little tonic but thank goodness it isn't longer.

I went in to this thinking it was going to be lame but i truly enjoyed this movie. It was unique concept.
It gives a great perspective of the damage violence/bullying can cause and how one has to deals with violence afterwards.

I think this movie is great for adult but kids and teens might not get the real meaning of this movie and only take it at face value.

For example some people might think his collection of women's shoes is because he wants to crossdress but i believe it is just because he likes them like some guys like classic cars. To him they are art, he even mentions his knowledge about shoes when he was saying that they are the wrong time period. By not being in the mainstream like everyone else and doing what he feels comfortable with he is bullied to the max just for being different.
