This book explains it to show that twins can be alike in many ways but also very different. Each person should get to know each one, and then you will be able to tell a twin apart. I have grown up with twins. I could tell them apart, but my mom could not even remember who was who.
I knew what this book was trying to do. It is trying to explain that all identical twins and fraternal twins will like the same things. That's okay. The pictures are lovely. The author did a fantastic job showing that twins can be alike with some things but can be very different. They still will get along. Twins are just like any other children.
Children will enjoy this book and learn about twins. If you are a twin, then this book is made for you. The picture book is suitable for all children. Parents and children can learn and teach each other while reading this book. Children can learn from each other as well and read this book together as well. It's okay to be different from your twin.

For some reason, I thought that, in this book, Cath (the main character) would meet her favorite character in real life. She does not. But what Rowell does do is describe a girl who has some very real life social issues. Some of which I can relate to.
I absolutely love Levi. He is wonderful. I still don’t have a very clear picture of him in my head and I think that might be a good thing. This is a book that I don’t think I want to see in theaters. If we did, I would probably have mixed feelings. We could never see into Cath’s life so clearly.
That’s all I have to say here. I loved this book. Look at my portfolio for a review to come!

Couldn’t get into this at all, and I really wanted to like it as I’ve heard great things about this author. Unfortunately I found myself finding other things to do rather than read this book, and when I did sit down to read I would only read a few pages before getting bored and doing something else.
As some other reviews have stated, there was a lot of describing the action after the action had happened, making it not so much of a crime thriller but a book that was lacking something. A lot of introducing characters and then them disappearing and never being heard from again and a lot of jumping between time frames.
The descriptions were great and I could picture where was being described so clearly, but this just wasn’t a book for me. A real shame because I really wanted to like this book!
