The classic picture book that finds the true meaning of Christmas as the Grinch tries to stop Christmas from coming for the Whos. Told in classic Seuss rhyme, it's a book I loved as a kid and still enjoy as an adult.

The characters development was strong in this book. The internal dialogue was interesting to read and helped truly paint a picture of the hopelessness the characters were experiencing. Unexpected twists and turns. A good psychological plot twist. (0 more)

A fun picture book take on fairytales, this one starts at "Happily ever after" and works back to "Once Upon a Time." Along the way, we get some surprises and laughs. Highly recommended.

A kid's picture book about a neighborhood sleuth. Here, he searches for Annie's missing painting of her dog. Humor for adults and a mystery that kids can solve make this a winner.

This picture book follows a nice dragon as he gets separated from his family and eventually finds a great life for himself. It's a bit slow, at least for adults, but kids should still really enjoy it.

This lovely little book was recently made into a major motion picture, with a star-studded cast. I enjoyed the film very much, but after seeing it, I had to read the book. My newest review of "The Bookshop" by Penelope Fitzgerald also discusses which was better – the book or the movie – and you can read it on my blog now. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2018/08/a-village-education.html
