GameCritics (290 KP) rated Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure in Video Games
Nov 9, 2017
Play levels based on six different Pixar film franchises. (2 more)
Two-player split-screen support makes this a great game to play with kids.
You can play with either physical or motion controls.
The hub world serves no purpose beyond level selection. (2 more)
Voice samples often become repetitive during gameplay.
Platforming feels a bit simplistic when using a controller.
Awkward movement controls always held the original game back, but now Rush plays great with a controller – and you can still use the Kinect if that's your thing.

Ishmael (30 KP) rated Secret World Legends in Video Games
Sep 9, 2017
Join a Secret Society and Save the World.
Secret World Legends is re-released and is free to play. It has been simplified. The combat is streamlined. The story lines and acting is still engaging. A player can advance in level with a minimum of grinding and most quests are appropriate for solo players. Funcom has just released a end game raid for New York. They have been committed to releasing new material.

classics never die, unlike graboids
I first saw this via those discs you get when you used to first buy a DVD player, a handful of B movies and this hidden gem, this film convinced me to give B movies a second chance, Tremors is made up of a small cast of good actors, it takes place in the middle of a desert in a nowhere town, two guys going about their business until something starts killing people, what follows is B movie gold, well worth a watch.
Auburn (57 KP) rated The New Guy (and Other Senior Year Distractions) in Books

I would rate this a solid good. Mediocre but enjoyable.
Jules is your non average high school senior. Focusing only on getting into Brown and the newspaper. That is until the new guy, a former boy band singer, comes to school. Now she must decide what is more important. With a lot of problems, misteps, and mistakes Jules must learn what it means to be a good friend and a team player.
While I enjoyed the premise and the cute couples I found myself skimming to get to the end faster.
Perfect for those who want a lot of drama with their stories.

Quick and easy to set up
Great Family Fun Game
A brilliant strategy game suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Have played with many people, family and friends with many going on to purchase the game themselves. Easy to set up and the aim of the game is straightforward. A well built game with a sturdy board and strong solid tiles, a game that will survive even the most reckless and be enjoyed for many years.
Goddess in the Stacks (553 KP) rated Call to Adventure in Tabletop Games
May 30, 2019 (Updated Jun 1, 2019)
Fantastic game with 2-4 player, solo, vs, and co-op capabilities. For a semi-random card picking game, the character you build by the end of the game is almost always a remarkably logical character. Half the fun is deciding who you've built from popular fantasy stories. Both vs and co-op games have very interesting (and very different!) gameplay. Just as fun with 2 players as with 4. I wish there were more hero and anti-hero cards, because we tend to run out of them, but that's really my only negative thing to say about this game. LOVE IT.

This is THE Fantasy Football podcast to listen to. Get Smarter without crutch arguments
Listen to a guy who watches the film of every game with every player. He see's thru the B.S. spouted by people who only look at the box score. Think of him as a talent evaluator, situation can't be predicted, but talent always seems to make it's way into the starting lineup. know who the good players are and you can see the breakouts coming. know when a guy is living off reputation and don't draft them early. plus it's just smart football conversations.

feels like you are building a castle with blueprints
Incredible balanced, semi puzzle, with competitive aspects, and lots of economic and point scoring strategy.
I love this game, it's so much fun to play, and even has a one player version, my wife and I sometimes play separately and send each other pictures of the final blueprints. it's fun to imagine them actually existing with a bowling alley next to a kitchen and a garden a few feet from a torture chamber. The expansion adds some more fun with new rooms and secret passages.
