This graphic novel starts with Thanos in full possession of the infinity gems and hence all-powerful. Determined to please the very high-maintenance Mistress Death, he starts doing what he thinks she would like him to do - starting off by eliminating half of the universe's population, rapture-style.
Thereafter, most of your favourite Marvel superheroes come together to plan an attack on Thanos to save the Earth from an ice age and the universe in general.
I had high hopes for this, the excitement of all of those supes ganging up was quite high. Sadly, it fell a little short.
It also feels quite dated and the dialogue is just utter guff.
The artwork at times is good, but in general a little slapdash in my opinion.

Creepy
I didn't really know what to expect from this movie- and it's a weird one. The acting/cinematography were fine. The story was a little slow moving, but unfolded well enough. Took some strange turns and had plenty of "creep" factor throughout. It doesn't make much sense at first. Wasn't sure if it was going to be a "ghost/haunting" movie or a "demon/possession" movie. Turned out to be kinda both. As it unfolds it all comes together at the end and is explained. Some of the imagery/effects are probably a bit too much for little kids (decapitated bodies, etc) but you adults should enjoy this one if you're into creepy horror movies. While not the greatest movie out there, I'd say this one is definitely worth a watch.

Apologies in advance, because I am fuming over this movie, and it's been 4 days. No, actually, the movie didn't make me mad, the marketing did. If you haven't seen the trailer for Saint Maud yet then DON'T - because it's the most misleading thing I've ever seen. I saw taglines claiming it was the most unique horror movie ever created. It suggested Maud was possessed, but not be a demon like in most horrors of that nature, but by God himself. And to anyone expecting a possession-horror movie - you're going to be disappointed. Very much like the group of teens a few rows behind me who claimed at the end loudly "that was f*****g s**t that was".

Obsession
Fear- is a good thriller, Mark Walhberg does a good job as the obsesser. He is a mix between Norman Bates, Patrick Batman, Jack Torrence and Max Cady. A psychopath that cant be stopped.

The plot: When 16-year-old Nicole Walker (Reese Witherspoon) meets 23-year-old David McCall (Mark Wahlberg) at a Seattle nightclub, she falls in love. David is exciting and charming, and despite the wide age gap, he wins over Nicole's family -- except for her workaholic father, Steven (William Petersen), who's suspicious of David from the start. His concerns are realized when David turns out to be a violent sociopath who sees Nicole as his possession, and her family home a fortress to be invaded.

Its a intense movie and it does a good job been a thriller
