As an Edinburgh resident (ish) I had high hopes for T2. I was worried when I heard it was based on the plot of "Porno" but very pleased to say it was only very loosely based on the book.
Mark Renton is back from the wilderness and looking to catch up with (some) old friends. Sadly, Frank Begbie escapes from prison and spots Renton and goes on the rampage to track him down.
There were moments of brilliance (the theft of the Rangers fans was inspired) but overall the film may have missed the target at times.

Max Holman has just been released from prison when he gets the news that his estranged son, a police officer, has been murdered. When the official story doesn't add up, Max begins poking around. But is he in over his head?

Another of Crais' stand alone novels, I found this one rather disappointing. The plot was a little too obvious. And, as a completely personal issue, the language also bothered me. On the other hand, the characters were great and compelled me further into the story.

Erika (17789 KP) rated Making A Murderer - Season 2 in TV

Well, I was super pumped for the 2nd part of Making a Murderer. But, lightening did not strike twice. Perhaps it was because there was almost always news about what was going on with the cases against Dassey and Avery. The only interesting part was the new theories and evidence in the case. I didn't like that Avery turned against his lawyers, it seemed a bit petty. But, I guess if you're spending life in prison, you'd cycle through blaming everyone around you. This felt like a 10 hour long, not very interesting episode of Dateline. Ok is the best word to describe it.
