The Hardys are dealing with two cases. While their father works on sabotage at a local security station, Frank and Joe head to a college to try to find a missing professor. But the trail leads them to some caves south of Bayport. What exactly will they find there?

This was actually the first Hardy Boys books I picked up many years ago, and it was fun to revisit. I didn’t remember much about the mystery, so it kept me guessing until the end. I did find the ending very rushed and the characters flat, but I still had fun revisiting them.

Alice is a well-known Harvard professor with a successful career, a loving husband, and three grown children. However, at the age of 50, she finds herself increasingly forgetting things - a particular word of a lecture, an event, how to get home from a run... Alice is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease and her world completely changes.

This book is beautiful and horrifying and tragic. It literally hurt my heart to read about Alice's unraveling and spiral into her disease. It's terrifying, for sure. Genova does an amazing job portraying Alice and the supporting characters of her life - particuarly her husband John, and her three children. It's definitely a worthwhile read, though it will stay with you for a while.

I read this book as a precursor to reading Ulysses and it was recommended to me by a professor. I enjoyed reading this book a great deal. James Joyce has an amazing sense of voice in his work and his writing is beautiful. Knowing a little bit about Ulysses made it interesting to go back and read about the character’s beginnings. I also thought it was really interesting that this book was written first, although often called a prequel because of the success of Ulysses. I at times found it hard to connect to the main character and his struggles which in turn would pull me out fo the story but the writing is so magnificent that I couldn’t put the book down.

The Great Mouse Detective- is a really underrated animation film made by disney that was released in the late 80's. Plus you have Vincent Price as the villian. I love Vincent Price he is such a excelllent actor.

The Plot: Basil embarks on the greatest case of his career when London's master toymaker is kidnapped. He ends up pitting his wits against his old adversary, Professor Ratigan, who wants to become `supreme ruler of all mousedom'.

The Great Mouse Detective- mixes "Sherlock Holmes", "The Rescuers" and "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" togther into one film. You have mystery, comedy, adventure, action and music.

Its a very underrated film, that i highly recordmend.

"I read it first as an 18-year old and, just like a meteor from a distant galaxy, it hit my tender young brain and dug its way deep into its gray material. It has nestled there ever since, radiating with beauty and wonder, irony and horror. This autumn I visited the ground zero of The Master and Margarita, the famous Patriarch Ponds in Moscow where Lucifer himself, in the guise of the Professor Woland, makes his first appearance in the book and sets the whole story in motion. For a second I wondered if he would come for me too. But then I remembered that Old Nick owned my soul already, having given it as a toy to Bulgakov all those years ago."

Where No Man Has Gone Before
Stargate- is a good action sci-fi flick. I know alot of people werent the biggest fans of this film, but i thought it was good.

The plot: In modern-day Egypt, professor Daniel Jackson (James Spader) teams up with retired Army Col. Jack O'Neil (Kurt Russell) to unlock the code of an interstellar gateway to an ancient Egypt-like world. They arrive on a planet ruled by the despotic Ra (Jaye Davidson), who holds the key to the Earth travelers' safe return. Now, in order to escape from their intergalactic purgatory, Jackson and O'Neil must convince the planet's people that Ra must be overthrown.

Like i said its a good sci-fi flick.

Jacy’s Lesson ( Teach me book 2)
By Raven Dark
⭐️⭐️
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

Class is in session, and Jacy is about to learn a hard lesson. After a wild night of passion together, her hot college professor Tyson Wright completely ignores her. Instead of wallowing in her sudden rejection, Jacy plots her revenge. What will she do when she discovers Tyson has a lesson for her, one she won't soon forget?

This book is exactly as it says spicy and short. Exactly like book 1 but this one lost that something and seemed a bit rough in writing. This author is usually quite up there on my list but this one just ugh.

I am a huge fan of James Patterson. The Women's Murder Club is my favorite series. This book did not disappoint at all.

This time, Lindsay Boxer is having a baby. She and Joe Molinari successfully got married in the last book and now baby makes three. Lindsay is just getting back to work and boy does she have her hands full. A body has been stolen from the ME's office. An old case she helped the FBI on has resurfaced and there is a professor who is dreaming about murders before they happen.

All of this is a lot for a regular cop to handle, but add in the emotions of just having a baby and trying to catch a killer and will Lindsay be able to handle it all.

Unexpectedly fun
For a film series that has had its ups and downs, going into Dark Phoenix, I had my doubts but came pit of the film feeling it was better than my expectations.

Story wise it handled the Dark Phoenix Saga better than the last time it was used in X-Men: The Last Stand. However for being the last film in the X-Men Saga, it didn't feel like the end it felt like there was more to come when there won't.

Also the only downside story wise was the villain of the film who wasn't really needed and could have just been Jean Grey.

A good film overall but I'm now looking forward to seeing Professor X alongside Thor and Spider-Man

This was done well. It seems everyone is waiting for a big snowstorm that is to be predicted. As some of the guests arrive for the holiday season. Mist just let them all settle in and get to know them at their own pace.

This seems to be a special activity that Mist seems to have pulled together for the guest at the hotel. That she gets some of the townsfolk to help out. What is this activity she has planned? Well, you will need to find out by reading.

The guests are Clara and Andrew, Michael, Max and Kinsley and Allison and the Professor. The story is heartfelt and sweet. It is a fun and enjoyable read. It loves it. Deborah Garner does a wonderful job of creating a special time for getting together.
