Enlightened Ascent ( The Pearson Prophecy 2)
By Jen L Grey
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Afraid the king will find out she's not truly dead, Ariah flees from the kingdom, leaving her family and enemies behind to think the worst. She thinks she's finally struck a bit of luck with the help of a prince, but when he betrays her, she realizes she'd only had a false sense of security.

On the run again, betrayed and in pain, Ariah vows to never be weak again. Soon, she finds herself in another kingdom as an untrustworthy outsider, but she's determined to make it her new home.

However, her fate begins to unravel in the presence of another persistent royal. Now, to fulfill her destiny, Ariah must make a decision as the war looms closer.

This was so much better than the first book Ariah really comes into her own. She takes charge of herself and her growing powers it shows what someone can do when they are pushed too far. Really enjoyed it.

By Jessica Wayne

The death of one of their own will bring about a war unlike any other.

Beaten down, broken, and battle-scarred, Anastasia isn't sure she has what it takes to keep moving forward. Especially when her enemy has corrupted someone she can't afford to lose.

As hidden truths come to the surface, she sets her sights on the one thing that could bring her power unlike any she's ever seen. The only problem is that power could also destroy her.

New enemies and old friends clash to bring back the light back into one of their own.

But death may be the only way to stop it.

I have really enjoyed this series I loved the first 3 books so much the last 2 were ok. I’m not sure they were really needed but despite this they were ok. Ana and Dekota finally get their happy ending and Vincent gets to redeem himself! The last two chapters and epilogue really give you a hero's win good feel. Hope you al enjoy it!

Mirror Sacrifice ( Dark Legacy book 2)
By Margo Ryerkerk
⭐️⭐️⭐️

After escaping a serial killer, Sierra travels to London, ready to embrace her supernatural heritage.

In addition to training, she has to assert her place among the snobbish elite and decide what to do about Gavin as he grows more distant and teams up on a mission with his charming ex.

To claim her spot in the supernatural world, Sierra trains harder than ever with Cooper who tasked with protecting her soon becomes more.

But matters of the heart will have to wait as the Culpatus returns with unexpected allies and the intention to fulfill a dark prophecy that spells the end of the world.

It was good it picks up with Gavin and sierra arriving in London so she can start her training. Her and Gavin are separated as he has to go hunting for killers with his ex and she’s left with Cooper learning her powers. Safe to say all hell breaks lose and a lot of things become clear. It was decent and well written.
