Insomnia while reading
The story is not out and out horror, it's more psychological and chilling.
About a man who loses his wife and has given up on life but finds reason to live again.
Deeply engaging and twisty turny.
The master of horror strikes again and I defy you to try and put it down.

Unusal Treatment
The Jacket- is a good psychological thriller that has good horror elements in it. It does mess with your mind.
The plot: Amnesiac Gulf War veteran Jack Starks (Adrien Brody) can't explain why he's been found at the scene of a murder. Ordered to a mental hospital, Jack is subjected to Dr. Thomas Becker's (Kris Kristofferson) unusual treatment plan, which involves mysterious injections, sensory deprivation and confinement in a straitjacket. Locked away on his own, Jack discovers he can travel to the future, where he's compelled to help a onetime acquaintance (Keira Knightley) and investigate his own odd fate.
It does has a really good cast, it is a slow pace film in the beginning but does pick up in the middle.
So overall a good psychological thriller.

The Psychological Man
The Invisible Man- was a good movie, i liked it alot, but their were some things i was just overall confused about and the ending, i was just overall confused. I was like what wait, what just happened, oh end of movie, okay. Dont want to explain more, about the ending, okay movie, just want to cut to the credits. So than i can be confused and overall disappointed. Other than the ending, a few parts of the movie, i really enjoyed it. I think its a good remake/reimagining. I like the plot, Elizabeth Moss was great in it, the psychological i thought was excellent and Liegh Whannell does it again.
The Plot: After staging his own suicide, a crazed scientist uses his power to become invisible to stalk and terrorize his ex-girlfriend. When the police refuse to believe her story, she decides to take matters into her own hands and fight back.
Their is twist and turns thoughtout the movie, and you will keep on second guessing until the very ending. Their is horror, sci-fi, psychological espects, thrills, suspense and revenge.
Overall The Invisible Man was good, just with a few set-backs, other than that. Go and watch it.

Gripping from start to finish
I was absolutely hooked by this psychological thriller. A lot of twists and turns, you delve into the mind of an alcoholic, and even feel like you experience the same nerve wracking incidents in which nothing is fluid. The characters were believable, with both good and bad sides highlighted. Nothing is what it seems. A well-constructed book.

My Personal Opinion
I like Stephen King as an author and have loved everything I have read of his up to this point. For me this book feel short. I'm not a huge fan of psychological horror and that's what this felt like to me. The book was ok enough that I finished it but it isn't one of my favorites.

Bird Box is one of the best horror novels I have ever read. I would gladly recommend to any fan of the genre. What made it so terrifying was the psychological aspect, there's so much left to the imagination, which can be a very scary place. I truly think this is the best book I've read so far this year.

Good one
This movie was intense. That acting was great. Russell Crowe really played the part of a psychopath well. The cinematography was well done and the story was a nail biting, edge of your seat thrill ride. There were more than a couple of "holy crap!" moments. If you're into psychological thrillers you'll really enjoy this one. REALLY worth a watch!
