"Michelle is our real Charles Dickens, and this small novel is working class perfection itself: in a mall, young, gay, punk, and in love for the first time."

Rolling Stone's 166th greatest album of all time
Much more piano-led album from Costello, continuing a move away from the faster, poppier punk to soundtrack-worthy ballads.

The future
A band mixing fast old school hardcore punk with Isis style slow parts. Completely unique.

"This song started the whole idea that punk rock can be married to soul and R&B music. This sort of started the whole idea of the record for me."

More raw US punk by a band I had never even heard of a few months ago. Very unpolished but authentic performance.

"I've spent much of the last few years touring with Skinny. It's wonderful to hear them extend beyond the core of "folk-punk" (whatever that is) into wider territory. Great songwriting."

Hmm

It was interesting but I'm not that into steam punk. I liked the idea of her not knowing her past and I'm sure we'll learn more about her in future issues.
