Too far fetched (0 more)
This book was ok but nothing special. It was a bit far fetched in my opinion which lead me not to believe in the story. Plus I like the stories I read to be sewn up at the end and this one wasn't. I had far too many questions for me to be truly satisfied

A Rich Addition for Fans of His Dark Materials
For some reason, I found it hard to sit down and read this for a long time, but this may have been due to a reading slump rather than the book itself. It adds to Pullman's rich world, and poses further questions, which I have always loved His Dark Materials for. Very anxious to read the next book!

The prolonged grief of watching someone suffer
Terribly sad to read Cathy Rentzenbrink's real account of watching her brother in a vegetative state eight years after a hit and run accident. It raises many moral questions including is it right to let someone live in pain or die quickly under horrible circumstances. This book is truly a love story between a sister and brother. Expect many tears.
