Podcast of Talk and Rock N Roll
I have been a fan of Chris Jericho's since I first saw him on WCW back in the day. Followed him through his move to WWE and then when I stopped watching wrestling he fell off my radar.

Podcasts are amazing for catching back up with celebrities that were born to talk. And talk he does. Jericho uses his connections in the music industry and the wrestling world to bring stars of yesterday and today onto the airwaves. His interviews are amazing, thought-provoking, and real. He gets his guests involved in long-form conversations that draw out stories that they might not have told otherwise.

This is the third book in the series.

The book is very good, it answers some questions but definitely poses a lot more. It is possible to start to see some of the direction the series may take and who the key players are. Also to begin to make your own predictions and hopes.

It is good to see Talia and Erik continue to grow as people and their relationship evolving. They are both having to face the real world and the decisions they are making. They are also questioning what they are doing and why. The naivety of the previous books is gone.

I have really enjoyed this series and recommend it if you enjoy dystopia.

The first in Kim Harriosn's Rachel Morgan series of books, I found that, while the novel has a nice conceit, this book is actually quite hard to get into and was a little on the slow side. I think this is due, in part, to the dense prose used throughout: there were more than a few occasions where I caught myself wondering if I had previously missed something, and ended up skimming back to see if I actually had or not.

On the plus side, the world it is set in feels pretty 'real', the charcters (even the villains) are all pretty well developed, and it sets itself up well for the inevitable sequels.

Exceptional platforming fun!
In early 2018, my love for the gaming genre was rediscovered with Hollow Knight. I've been spoilt with narrative marvels and open world paradises, that when I began Rayman Legends, I also rediscovered my childhood.

Everything about Rayman Legends is fun. From the bonkers and beautiful worlds that are so detailed and masterfully crafted, to the meticulously designed levels, which sometimes bounce along to popular songs, this game is the real deal. It deserves to be mentioned with the likes of Super Mario Bros. There, I said it.
