⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Renee has made it: she's in the final four.
But is she dying to win?
Renee should be thrilled to have been chosen as one of the final four contestants in The Catch, the world's biggest reality show. But now she, the other contestants, and Jeremy 'the Catch' have arrived on the remote, wooded island for the final show, Renee begins to wonder if there's something wrong. Is she taking a bigger risk than she realised?
And as she and the other contestants begin their final challenges, they slowly start to realise that the island they've been taken to is hiding a terrifying secret - one that could make the final Elimination Event all too real.
This was really good! Ok so in the middle
I was thinking god these people are so annoying I want them all to meet a sticky end but I think that was the point I really hate the reality shows they drive me crazy! The ending to this book was just so so good I actually had a little warm fuzzy feeling at the end so bizarre.

Terrifying political racial horror
As a woman of colour this is probably the most terrifying kind of horror to watch. It's political message is stark, and it's almost a satire of American society. The last scene of the main character's hands up is a grim look on reality where an US police officer is more likely to believe the white woman than the black man. Rod is by far the best character!
Wow, if you ever need a reality check about how hard your life probably isn't this book is a way to do it. Not only do you read about an amazing survival story, that honestly I have no idea how this man did survive but you also learn about more than what a regular school history lesson would teach you about. My heart just hurt for this man on so many occasions throughout this book. How he continued to go on and get through everything is amazing! I would definitely reccomend this book.

Very good animated film
Contains spoilers, click to show
Usually in my opinion the first film in a series is the best. I feel that's true for the cars series. However this is still a great feel good film. Great for kids and adults. I love the addition of more characters and more environments beautifuly tweaked from reality to fit in to the alternate world of cars. It fits well with real life, with the retirement of all the race cars and the new intake of youth. Very entertaining with an underlayer of life lessons.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2346 KP) rated The Homicide Hustle: A Ballroom Dance Mystery in Books
Mar 9, 2018
The reality TV competition Ballroom with the B-Listers has hit DC, and Graysin Motion is one of the featured studios. But when one of the show's producers dies, Stacy begins digging around to find the killer. The characters and plot are a little light even for a cozy, but the story comes together well at the end. Anyone with an interest in ballroom dance will certainly enjoy it.

Never fails
Having been a fan of the tv show as long as I can remember, I have read this, comprising Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers and Better Than Life, dozens and dozens of times - and can quote great chunks.
Lister is slobbier than ever.
Rimmer is even more of an irritating worm.
The universe, time, death and reality are all their playthings - and I can only begin to imagine what Lister’s isolation on those peculiar worlds would be like.
