A classic
I still love this story after countless readings and about as many reboots. Few are unfamiliar with the story, which lends itself well to contemporary retellings. But I enjoy revisiting the original now and then. It's a very quick read, and one of my favorite ghost stories and tales of redemption. If Scrooge can change, who can't?

Fun
This movie was recommended to me and I'm glad I watched it. The acting was great and the cinematography was terrific. The story was fun and exciting with some funny and heartwarming moments. A great underdog/father-son/redemption movie for the whole family. If you haven't already seen it, it's definitely worth a watch!

By all accounts this is Thornton playing himself.
Another Christmas redemption story disguised as a heist job within a department store, Santa in this instance is a drunk womaniser which leads to all kinds of hilarity, it takes one kids undying love for Santa for him to have an epiphany, and here the story although formulaic has a suitable but somewhat sweet ending.

Bill Murray is always watchable and he seems to have been given free reign here as scrooge in this modern comedic Richard Donner retelling, not only is it laugh out loud, and considerably violent in parts, it never loses its heart and message of redemption, not for everyone I would guess, however, one I very much enjoy as a guilty pleasure.

This is a story how a Warrior that has been cursed for 2000 years to have his emotions chained by a God find redemption and strength to feel again through the heart meld of a unlikely source Tiernan a feisty truth seeker reporter. As their story unfold you see that truth and lobe comes out in the most unlikely way. Beautifully titled fits the story well.
