I have a love-hate relationship with YouTube.
I love it for how useful it can be when you want to learn to do something as there's nearly always a walkthrough video from someone - handy for me when I'm trying to figure out a tricky stitch or section in a knitting or crochet pattern.
I hate how apparently addictive life hack videos, videos of other people playing games or "unboxing" videos are to kids, haha! While it can be helpful when I need to get something done urgently, I feel like I can recite some of these off by heart...
In all seriousness, it is a great app. As I don't use it so much myself, I sometimes feel like the UI could be a bit more intuitive (I seem to get stuck in a loop on my phone app sometimes), but it's clearly simple enough for kids to use, soooo....
It can be hard to restrict inappropriate content because it isn't always labelled as such, but this is an issue on any platform with user-generated content and just means that as parents/guardians/responsible adults we need to be more aware of what children are accessing and to limit it accordingly and which is, after all, our job!

There are books that make you love them from the first page. This one was not one of those!
There were millions of times when I wanted to give it up and put this book down - I found it extremely hard to keep going, but I somehow finished it.
The story itself is so twisted, it is just unbelievable. It is one of the most twisted plots I've ever read in my life. And there were parts I loved, but there were also parts I hated.
The thing I loved the most was the adventures Turtle had with Jacob.
The thing I hated the most... - Where do I start?
The relationship between Turtle and her father, the unrealistic characters description, the unreliable situations they find themselves into, the unreal thoughts that a 14-year-old girl might have, the swearing throughout the book.
I have never had such a feeling towards a book, and as much as I don't like it - it bothers me. It bothers me of what could have happened, what could be different, why this and why that...
It is definitely worth reading it, but only for those that can cope with it. I am not sure if I can...

Next cult horror
Honestly I went in with low expectations of this film however I was pleastly surprised by it.
This film has all the making of possible cult status whilst it not the edgest film and like most horror there are part that just aren't believable. This film had a fun factor that kept you engage and wanting to watch till the end.
Personally my favourite charcter from the film was Vince placed by Kamal Angelo Bolden. I got to watch this film at fright fest and so the cast was present to introduce the film. From Kamal introduction to seeing him on screen you could see he had one of the most charamatic personalities I've ever seen both on screen and introducing the film. Kamal charcter Vince is a drug dealer and when mist the ravers transform Vince personality stay true throughout the film this makes him engaging to watch.
Georgia Hirst plays Becky and the lead of the film it an interesting charcter as someone who at the start exhibits all the signs of somone who has OCD suddenly cope in a situation that goes from normal rave to horror flick.

Susanna has invited both her sister and mother to Brington Kingdom for the Christmas season. Will their mother get over their father’s death? There appear someone brings Avery and Colin together at every turn. Will Colin father help or harm Colin? The old bell rings and who has pulled it and rung it?
People do not believe that god had pulled the 600 pound bell that started ringing and bring all people to the where the accident of Prince Michael died. I love that fact that there is a meaning and some true relationship trouble and Hauck shows that in each story in The Royal Wedding Series? She let the characters work it out their own problems. She does not rush them. Rachel Hauck does well with the plot and her writing is wonderful as well.

A Wholly Original Debut
Though it takes a little bit for the action to pick up in author Adib Khorram's debut work, much like the titular protagonist in this young adult coming-of-age novel, great things come both to Darius as well as the patient readers who wait.
Bursting with vivid imagery and a wholly original first-person point-of-view right from the start, Darius the Great is Not Okay - about a half Persian, half Caucasian teenager who travels with his family to visit his maternal grandparents for the first time in Iran - is sure to be one of the genre's breakout successes of 2018.
A timely, fresh, and relatable character driven work, the book centers on Darius Kellner's search for that one place in which he fits.
Understanding the complexity of being a teenager, Adib Khorram tackles Darius Kellner's "outsider" status from a variety of perspectives bound to ring true to readers from envying his younger sister's relationship with his father to being bullied or ridiculed on two continents.

MoMo Book Diary is pleased to recommend this well written intriguing drama as a 4* emotional read.
Marian Dillon’s Looking for Alex grabbed me from the first time I read the synopsis and the plot had me hooked, to the point I sat up until the early hours reading to discover what happened next.
The story is about two friends Beth and Alex, their friendship and the dynamics of their relationship. I felt the flitting between present day and flashbacks to 1970s interrupted the flow of the story but the compelling characters held my interest. The author described the locations vividly and cleverly transports the reader through time and place.
I was gripped more by the present day chapters as the flashbacks were much slower paced.
The author sympathetically captures the turmoil of the teenage years and relationships formed in shaping our adult lives.
Great writing by a great author. When I was asked by Marian Dillon to read and review her book I was not aware of her or her books. I am thankful for the opportunity to read this very talented author and look forward to reading more of Marian Dillon.

This is the fourth installment in the Cormoran Strike series and it has Cormoran and his business partner Robin Ellacott investigating the alleged murder of a child twenty years ago, along with the blackmail of a government minister. Which is a pretty simple plot, and in my opinion could have been told in a shorter book. I love a big, fat novel as much as the next person, but only if it's all necessary and adds to the story. I felt like a good chunk of this one could have been trimmed without hurting the story at all. Another negative involves the relationship between Cormoran and Robin, There's a fair amount of readers (myself included) who, possibly irrationally, ship these two oblivious idiots; who despise Robin's significant other (who I like to call Matthew the twat), and long for Cormoran and Robin to realize they are perfect for each other. If you are one of those people, prepare for disappointment. I am extremely frustrated that I read 600 plus pages to wind up at such an ambivalent ending, Still, the writing was great, the plotting is tight, and the reveal of the villain was surprising, so I rated this book highly anyway. Now excuse me while I go write Corbin fanfics to drown my sorrows.

Nora's Promise by Sedona Hutton
Nora's Promise is the second book by Sedona Hutton I have read, and just like Cloud Whispers, this blew me away.
Our two main characters both have baggage from their pasts, and neither of them can see it immediately. There is attraction, but also a whole load more. Nora and Davey's relationship is a slow-build, which makes it all the more enjoyable.
There is a supernatural element to this story, with the appearance of Pap, and Nora's abilities, so you need to read this with an open mind. Personally, I loved every aspect.
This is a book long enough to get your teeth into, but not too long that it drags. The story is excellently written, with poignant, heartfelt scenes. There were no editing or grammatical issues that I noticed in a story where the pacing was very smooth.
A brilliant second foray into the writings by Sedona Hutton, and I can't wait for AJ's Leap to be released next. Absolutely recommended by me.

The Ben Guzman-directed audiovisual is all about getting to know who Just Loud is and his constantly changing character. The music video reflects him as an entertainer, artist, and his real self.
‘Blue on Blue’ tells an interesting tale which echoes the aftermath of a toxic relationship and downward spiral of a young guy who self-medicates.
The likable tune contains a relatable storyline, Prince-style falsetto vocals, and neo-funk instrumentation scented with an alternative-pop fragrance.
Written by Just Loud with Dave Katz “Sluggo” (Neon Trees, Good Charlotte) and Patrick Nissley (Thirty Seconds to Mars, Yungblud.
Just Loud was raised around a small county church, but his rebellious and inquisitive nature saw him cast away at the age of 15. Shortly afterward, he found himself homeless in New York on a pursuit to pursue music.

But after some time alone, she realizes that he’s the only guy who truly gets her. Therefore, she wants him back and doesn’t want him to leave anymore.
Later, she admits that she can’t remember what was said that put them in a bad place, but apologizes for the part she played in their looming breakup.
Even though her heart is in the right place, she fears that it might be too late to rekindle the flames of their dying romance.
