A very unusual film. Quite erotic as an American student in Paris strikes up a relationship ship with a Brother and sister during the backdrop of student riots in '68. A quirky coming of age tale.

What a good book! Vivian and Molly are both strong women who have faced/are facing many challenges in life. The relationship they build and the way they help each other is inspiring. I'm glad I read it.

"I love watching old movies. The two characters in this movie were unbelievable. Raul Julia was phenomenal in it. They kind of beat each other up emotionally. I really got a kick out of seeing that whole relationship."

It's shorter than the book it's based on but that's to be expected. However, a lot of scenes I like that featured the relationship between the parents and their children were cut. Oh well, I still enjoyed it.

"The way that Gilbert loves Arnie in this film is so sweet and sad to me. The guilt, the exhaustion, even the jealousy. It’s a fantastic relationship and two of our best actors are in their prime here."
