I loved that Calvin and Ethan finally got together properly and we saw the progression of their relationship, as well as a few other as which have been brewing for a while. The whole Web and Hudson thing for example.

And what's going on with Dex disappearing? Now I want to go read book 7 like, right now.

I cried

God, I was so willing these two on. They were perfect for each other. And the more we learnt about her relationship with her ex, I was just so...heartbroken for her, for them both. If only Oliver had gone for it sooner then she really could have avoided all the heart ache. But they got there in the end.

It started off so promising. I was really enjoying it up until they went after Godfrey and the gang. Don't get me wrong, I wanted them to get their revenge but... no. I didn't get the sex. Or their relationship, really. I wanted them to be together but it was all so high/low. I don't know...i'm still processing.

"I discovered this book by the poet Adreienne Rich in the now long gone Feminist Book Store in NY's Greenwich Village when I was 25 years old. The title called out to me and became the basis for how I formed my relationship to my own authenticity and how I have approached relationships with other people for my entire life."

"You know the movie Let Me In? The new one — I haven’t seen the original. I really liked that movie. I don’t know why. It’s just one of those movies that I loved the relationship, and the dark story behind it all. I loved those two young characters, and how wonderful actors and actresses they were. I really enjoyed that movie."

"The symbiotic relationship between the oak tree and civilization is powerful. From acorns as food, to ink, and the more obvious uses of the wood itself, Logan connects the very origins of man with the oak and all it has provided. It is clear that Logan reveres the profound importance of this tree and skillfully combines the science with a poetic fervor."

If you're as fascinated by historical fiction that delves into the woman behind the man as I am, then this story about Delia Spencer Caton Field, the woman Marshall Field loved and the scandal that their relationship caused, is just right for you.
