Time waster
I have been on Facebook for some years now but recently decided to deactivate. Fb is great for networking, promotion and promoting ypur business. If used correctly it can be a great platform to boost your business.
For friendships i dont recommend, you can spend so much time on there talking to people who you wpuld probably just pass in the street, if you wouldn't then you certainly don't need fb to communicate! We have lost the ability to communicate face to face and fb doesn't help.
I see so many relationships and friendships breakdown because of fb so i advise people to happily use the app but to also have a break from time to time!

I wish we could give half stars in reviews, as I feel this one is more than a 4 but not quite at 5. Its a beautiful story, wonderful in its simplicity, about relationships and emotions and just being human. You can relate to all the characters, their fears and struggles and joys and challenges in figuring out who they are and their place in the world and just life in general. It was also a trove of information about birds and NYC that was interesting and helped the story instead of weighing it down. I expected it to be more along the lines of chick lit type fluff and was pleasantly surprised to find that it went much deeper. All in all it was a very satisfying read.

I borrowed this book from the library for my mum and dad to read but i thought I would read it too so we could all talk about it. I was very pleasantly surprised by this book, it is packed full of information for not just grandparents but parents as well. It has sections which answer some probing questions you might have (questions that real people in real situations have asked the author)which I found very helpful. The book covers pretty much everything you would need to know about the child-parent-grandparent relationship, I can't actually think of anything that it might have missed...very thorough. It covers everything from emotions, relationships, financial aid, education, health issues and many other useful topics. I highly recommend this book to all grandparents.

Heartbreaking.
First of all, this is based on the real life of Georgiana Cavendish, the Dutchess of Devonshire. It needed to be raw, a storyline that is hard to swallow. Thankfully Ralph Fiennes and Keira Knightley are fabulous actors and play the parts so true to the actual people involved.
I don't want to spoil this one as I do think it should be watched, especially as a piece of History. It really makes you appreciate the little things in your relationships. It's honestly so heartbreaking though I cry when the end comes every time (i am a massive softy though admittedly).
All I'll say is, afterwards have a google and see just how accurate this is to the real Dutchess of Devonshire. You'll be shocked.

Deserves more appreciation
If you haven't watched it because it's the same plot as Doctor Horrible or Despicable Me, then please do yourself a favour and watch it anyway. I did that mistake first and really enjoyed the film. If you've seen it when it came out and thought it as bad, then please watch it again with the view point of today's issues.
It surprisingly has a clear message about the superhero genre getting exhausted, criticises the objectification of women as trophies and how the fedora, good guy type of attitude can end up really harmful to friendships and relationships.
Plus it's got an awesome soundtrack and really funny moments. It's so much better than people give credit for.

Beautifully understated comedy (nearly a comedy-drama, really) about the lives and loves of a pair of middle-aged metal detecting enthusiasts. Brilliantly written, directed and performed. Part of the considerable charm of the series is that it is so charming and relaxing to watch: the countryside nearly always looks lovely, and the show is a definite slow burn. It takes its time to establish the characters, but the pay-offs, when they come, are superbly funny.
On the other hand, there is genuine tension in the more dramatic storylines, as the characters mess up important life decisions and struggle with their relationships. Very satisfying to watch; anyone who understands the appeal of pursuing an uncool hobby in the company of your best friends will find a lot that resonates here.
