The plot: Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson), a former government operative, is trying to reconnect with his daughter, Kim (Maggie Grace). Then his worst fears become real when sex slavers abduct Kim and her friend shortly after they arrive in Paris for vacation. With just four days until Kim will be auctioned off, Bryan must call on every skill he learned in black ops to rescue her.
Its the best one out of the trilogy, should of there been 2 more sequels, no. But $$$.
Intresting fact: Jeff Bridges was first cast as Bryan Mills, but after he dropped out of the project, Liam Neeson accepted the part, desiring to play a more physically demanding role than he was used to. Neeson at first thought the film to be no more than a "little side road" for his career, expecting it to be released directly to video.
Only watch this one.

On one level this is another colourful, slightly cheesy and rather sentimental 1950s western - but on another it has a darkness to it which is quite surprising, for all that this moral ambiguity arguably eventually consumed the genre. It's a film about racism and an obsessive desire for vengeance - the Native Americans in this film are given a degree of depth and generally treated respectfully, but the film is honest about the savage conflict between them and the colonial population, and Wayne's mania for revenge, though understated, is clear. The film's subtexts about the importance of family and what it means to be an American are well-presented, though no doubt problematic for many modern viewers. Still, this is a hugely important and influential western and probably a great movie too.

The story treads new ground, away from Andys family, but yet still feels familiar, as Woody and co set off to rescue a lost toy, meeting various obstacles along the way (those ventriloquist dummies though)
The new characters are all pretty great, including Forky (Buster Bleuth through and through), Keanu Reeves' Duke Caboom, Giggle McDimples, Gabby Gabby, and Ducky and Bunny just to name a few, are all charming in their own ways and fit right alongside the classic characters with ease.
Once again, Pixar manage to squeeze in morals and emotions that honestly had me welling up at times.
Like I said, I was initially was wary of further stories in the Toy Story franchise but on the strength of this, I'll certainly be going to see any future entries!

And Lollipop is what brings our two characters together. They may have already known each other but their love for the cute dog made them finally connect. The broke sarcastic girl and the rich suit wearing do-gooder.
I actually liked both Sadie and Caleb. To see the two relationship wary people slowly open up and let themselves feel something. To be themselves around each other instead of the person they feel they need to be. The eventual teasing as they begin to fall. It was super cute. Add in the dog and I was hooked.
I would love to read more of this series in the future whether it be previous books or Ivy's story which is next up, as they all seem like a great group of friends.
