"Take 19th century explorer Richard Francis Burton, resurrect him by a river on a strange world, naked. Add a Neanderthal, a Holocaust survivor and an alien, and a quest to discover what the hell this is all about, and you’ve not even scratched the surface of Farmer’s first Riverworld book."

A frail and ill looking Richard Pryor (0 more)
This is a late 80's comedy starring the great richard pryor that he obviously only agreed to star in for the money.A very simple plot line sees pryor and his family going through hell in trying to move home when pryor gets a new job in a new state.A few funny slapstick moments make this just about bearable but you can see pryor was obviously ill and frail during the making of the film.

"I have no idea if this is anything near an accurate representation of the New York punk scene at the time, because I wasn’t there. But when I saw this as a teenager I certainly thought that it was, and that I was getting a glimpse of something really special. It also introduced me to Richard Hell, the Feelies, and ESG, and you can’t say that about many—or any—other films. —Will Young"
