"Off the top of my head I’ll say Down by Law, the Jim Jarmusch movie with Tom Waits and John Lurie and Roberto Benigni. It just has sort of a weird sense of humour and it’s a bit of a road movie itself. It’s original in a really cool way."

"Daltry in the beans is kind of disgusting. Reminds me of this ridiculous British fetish magazine my old tour manager found on the road years ago, called Splosh!, which featured pictorials of office secretaries at their desks, dousing themselves with high volumes of food, all mishmashed into a culinary miasma."

"Lerner’s books have shaped my life and my career. I thought I was good at apologizing and making amends, but this book challenged me in an unexpected and profound way. Imagine a world where we move away from blame and defensiveness and toward real accountability. This is the road map."

Cloud source your travels
Waze is such a cool idea. I love the fact that someone realized that crowd-sourcing your travels was a perfect solution. I am going to stay away from the fact that you can tag police officers (I do it and I love the fact that you can), I really appreciate that you can see traffic conditions as they happen and as they roll in. It is so reliable and you can remove road conditions that someone else left.

My wife and I treat it as a game on the road. She is in charge of tagging things as we pass them, while I drive. Passes the time.
