Figures it’d take a classic like Doc to make me park it and “appreciate the greats” — old flicks like Thunder Road, Two-Lane Blacktop… and at the top of my faves? GRAND PRIX. I mean, come on! You’ve got a killer international cast and some of the best shots with real racers I’ve ever seen in a movie. Every year, New Year’s Day rolls around, and it’s the first movie I throw on, like clockwork. Now THAT’S how you start things moving!"

I was easily drawn into this from the first page, it made me laugh throughout and I liked both Stephanie and Morelli.

I don't think I would have figured out who was behind it all, at all, but I always knew there was something a little iffy about the person.

I'd be interested in continuing the series as I have visions of Stephanie and Morelli getting it on at some point in the future.

To save me buying the next God knows how many books in this series I'm really thinking of joining my local library, since it's more or less just down the road.

Of course there are first impressions that speak to Dave Matthews, but I also hear the influence of Bon Iver, certainly on how the vocals are mixed and with that classic heartbeat pulse. Mitch King achieves a real clarity of purpose with his song Believe:
