Completely entertaining, it was riveting every second. Connie (Robert Pattinson) and his mentally handicapped brother, Nicholas (Benny Safdie, who is also one of the directors), rob a bank. When Nicholas is caught by police, and placed into Rikers Island, Connie does everything to try to bail his brother out. The entire movie spans one day.

Movie Metropolis (309 KP) rated Iron Man (2008) in Movies

Jon Favreau (The Jungle Book) helmed Marvel’s first foray into creating a mass-market, shared universe with wonderful results. The casting of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark was inspired and Gwenyth Paltrow was a great choice to play Pepper Potts.
The film still holds up to this day with great action sequences, cracking special effects and a decent story to boot. Negatives? Well, Jeff Bridges’ villain is a little underdeveloped and quite frankly, a bit dull (something Marvel still struggles with to this day), but Iron Man is the one that started it all and it’s a great film.

Bad Day
Falling Down- is a excellent drama. It has suspense, thrills and mystery. Micheal Douglas is excellent in this.
The plot: A middle-aged man dealing with both unemployment and divorce, William Foster (Michael Douglas) is having a bad day. When his car breaks down on a Los Angeles highway, he leaves his vehicle and begins a trek across the city to attend his daughter's birthday party. As he makes his way through the urban landscape, William's frustration and bitterness become more evident, resulting in violent encounters with various people, including a vengeful gang and a dutiful veteran cop (Robert Duvall).
Its a excellent film and recordmend watching it.

ClareR (5726 KP) rated How Not To Be a Boy in Books

Funny and poignant.
Robert Webb tells us about how his life from beginning to current day, illustrates how not to be a boy. Basically, men are not brought up (largely speaking) equipped with the emotional know-how like women are. Emotions are seen as 'unmanly'. I hope times are changing. I've made an effort in my home to equip my sons with the vocabulary and ability to name their emotions and own them. Times are (hopefully) changing!

GREAT Demon Horror/Thriller
I loved this book!!! This took me back some years to my childhood days of sneaking and reading Stephen King books before I was supposed to. I had this read in two day as once I started I couldn't stop. I don't think anyone would disagree with me when I say this; this story made me think of old Stephen King stories, Robert McCammon and some others. Thoroughly enjoyed and looking forward to reading more!!!
