Would make Lestat turn in his coffin
A totally different type of Vampire film to The interview with the Vampire. It uses the same character Lestat from the first, who now awakes in current times, and decides to become a rock star....much to the anger of many other Vampires. It was an ok film, pity it didn't have a better story, or bigger budget. The effects are ok, the most enjoyable part was learning some history of Lestat's character. Overall not bad if you like Vampire films but a poor follow on from the first film.

He's still standing
Where do i start when it comes to a film about to excentric yet turbulent years in elton john's life. Everyone was cast to perfection with lead star taron with a knockout elton. Dexter fletcher's brilliant mix of song and mixed with his personal life troubles. Just goes to what a talented director (and the right one) to pull of and entertaining. Joyus with heart. The film also showcases the long lasting to this day relarionship with his musical collabarator bernie turpin (played by jaime bell). All in all a must see for rock and music fans everywhere.

Decent but not for me
I get that I am not the target market for this incarnation of Captain Marvel. This collection is split roughly in three. The story surrounding Chewie, with Rocket, was good, funny and well written. The second story, trying to save a rock star from an arranged marriage, was tedious drivel (similar to volume 1's Phantom Menace trade negotiations rubbish), and the third was slightly more what I would have expected from Marvel, a villain's attempt to take over New York.
A good collection for a character that some might really love, but definitely not my cup of tea.

After reading Interview with a Vampire over ten years ago, honestly, the last person I wanted to read a book about was that a**hole, Lestat. So, I put off reading it.

Well, I decided to try it, via audiobook, and Lestat is WAY more interesting than that whiny little b**** Louis. First, Simon Vance is an amazing narrator, and I highly recommend the audiobook.

Lestat's story is detailed and fascinating, starting out before he became a vampire, up to modern times, his rock-star period. Lestat is intelligent (majority of the time), a bit arrogant, and drama queen extreme. I loved every second of it.
