I liked the idea for the story--bad-arse rocker looking bodyguard and his "Princess" charge fall in love. Opposites attracting.

I liked Alex--the above said bad-arse rocker looking bodyguard; Mohawk, tattoo's and all. I really don't know how he put up with her at times.

I just wasn't so fond of Sasha--she really was the brat that she was dubbed as for most of the story. The way she acted at times I wanted to smack her or strangle her.

As for the rest...I wasn't expecting that little twist near the end and then I found the ending a little "Ugh".

But if I ignore a lot of what Sasha got up to I liked it.

Styles had a hand in writing every track on the album, and there’s a surprising amount of homage paid to classic FM rock – he’s at his best when he cuts loose and has some fun, as on the raucous rocker Kiwi

Fabulous rocker series, you'll fall in love with each character (0 more)
Another fabulous book from Terri Anne Browning!
Another fabulous book from Terri Anne Browning! I've missed a bunch of this series and man I've got to get caught up!? Every one of her books sucks me in from page one and Rocking Kin was no different! Kin is struggling after the loss of her mother, having promised to move in with her Father, a man who has been non-existent in her life until now. Moved across the country, away from the only family she knows and loves, finding herself in a house she'll never consider home, surrounded by people who are family by name alone... Thankfully she meets Lucy, her new best friend and until Jace, a ghost from her past comes back into the picture, everything seemed manageable. But now he's back and her heart can't take another hit.... Fabulous rocker series & author, incredibly beautiful story, I couldn't help but fall in love with everyone of these characters. HIGHLY recommended book, series & author!!

OH, what an ending to an incredible series!? I've missed a few here and there (which Ill surely be catching up on) but this has been one of my favorite rocker series! This last book was the perfect ending.. still plenty of action, crazy events and hot a$$ sex scenes, while I loved that we were able to touch in on everyone's story. It was a perfect closing to the wild ride we've had with all the guys, and my god will I miss them!? HIGHLY recommended book & series!!

Rolling Stone's 454th greatest album of all time
A surprising album from the shock-rocker. Some songs are very similar to the Rolling Stones and Bowie, with a definite pomp to them. Others like the brooding and dark Black Juju show more of his emerging style that would become his trademark. Standout tracks are I'm Eighteen and Hallowed Be My Name (which I am convinced I have heard a cover version of but cannot found who did it!). The album closes with an odd rendition of Rolf Harris' Sun Arise for no apparent reason...

Like, I'm sure, more than a few others, my first exposure to The Rocketeer came from the early 90s movie of the same name: even back then, I remember thinking that it bore more than a few resemblances to the 1988 Amiga game 'Rocker Ranger', with both set during (or near) World War 2, and both concerning a test pilot who learns the use of a jet-fueled rocket pack.

I was completely unaware that the film - and, more than likely, that game - were based on a comic series of the same name: this particular one.

I aoso have to say that the film (from what I remember) draws heavily from this source, although (if you'll forgive the pun) neither ever really seemed to 'take off' for me: to heavily draw me in.

I'm not going to lie, I hardcore DNF this book after suffering through 30-ish%. It was advertised as being about a murder at Harvard, and that it may have been a professor. That sounded so interesting.
But no, I got a semi-autobiographical book about the paranoid, slightly-off her rocker author. She re-enrolls at Harvard, takes said professor's classes and tries to solve the case.
Surprisingly, that's not this book's biggest problem. The biggest issue with this book, other than being boring AF, is that this case was solved with longer overdue DNA testing... and completely proved the author's theory wrong. However, even though this book was published after, she still continues on her crusade. It was odd that they went ahead and published it, since it was all incorrect, incoherent babbling.

Razor sharp rock and hip-hop fusion
Discovered at random while searching for Rock music released this year, Grandson managed to be heavy and thrilling, while also utilising modern production techniques more usually associated with hip hop and electronic music, the fusion is excellent.
There are five tracks on this EP and each has a distinctive flavour. Apologize is a swaggering endorsement of the self, warts and all, which every listener can adopt as their own personal anthem. Stigmata is a full on, head down rocker that no doubt sets mosh pits ablaze. Is This What You Wanted is a searing enditement of facing the grinding misery of the world, compared with escaping it via indulgence and excess, slower than its predecessors but no less furious. Falling is a tripped out meditation on struggling with addiction. Darkside is the take of a would - be school shooter that drips with menace until it finally drops, when it becomes openly hostile.

Lou Grande (148 KP) rated the PC version of Emily Is Away Too in Video Games

Emily Is Away Too
Emily Is Away Too
2017 | Role-Playing, Simulation
For people of a certain age, Emily Is Away Too will remind them of being a teenager in the early aughts and late nineties. You play as yourself (more or less) as you attempt to woo either of two girls at your high school: Emily, the alternative hipster chick, or Evelyn, the punk rocker. In that way, it's much like many dating sims. You discover their likes and dislikes and play into them.

What makes Emily Is Away unique is the gameplay. It all takes place, so to speak, in a chat client called "EOL," which functions like AIM or Yahoo! Messenger. You can customize your font, profile, and avatar (the angstier the lyrics in your bio the better, of course). And don't forget to make your text as obnoxious as possible.

To compliment the retro look, the soundtrack consists of the sound of your hard drive working and really authentic chat notifications. It was a trip back in time for me, and it actually made me a little sad in a bittersweet way.
