The great maestro himself would be proud of Ron Howard’s epic documentary as it hits all the right notes. Much like Luciano hitting 9 high C’s in one performance, Howard manages to find an incredible amount of warmth and humanity to put on display here.

Great racing film
A film based on a true story of a great rivalry in the F1 championship in the late 70's. The acting is spot on and the recreation of some of the motorsport action is thrilling. A very interesting story well told by director Ron Howard.

This is how a Star Wars movie should be made
This is the Star Wars movie I've been waiting for since Rogue One. It easily ranks in my top 3 movies in the series. Ron Howard gets Star Wars, he's not taking strange twists like The Last Jedi did, just to make himself look like an avant-gard director. He hits all the points a Han Solo movie should, and even throws things in for long time followers.

A twist on the popular domestic noir novels that have dominated the bestseller list. This psychological thriller revolves around Jane, recovering after a traumatic loss, she moves into an architectural showhome, an austere house with strict rules. One Folgate Street is a formidable fortress of technology that promotes, sleek, sterile, minimalist living but it hides a murky past. Jane is not the first resident to enjoy the stark lifestyle and her interest is piqued when a stranger leaves flowers at the door. Who was the girl before and will the same fate befall Jane?
This narrative uses the two women’s perspectives to draw you into the plot. The film is being directed by Ron Howard so there’s time to read the book before you see the movie. One for your travels.

Fire Unleashed
Backdraft- is a good movie, that has suspense, drama, action, thrills, mystery and a great cast.

The plot: Chicago firefighting brothers Stephen (Kurt Russell) and Brian (William Baldwin) have been rivals since childhood. Brian, struggling to prove himself, transfers to the arson unit. There he aids Don (Robert De Niro) in his investigation into a spate of fires involving oxygen-induced infernos called backdrafts. But when a conspiracy implicating a crooked politician and an arsonist leads Brian back to Stephen, he is forced to overcome his brotherly competitiveness in order to crack the case.

Like i said before the cast is really good, the drama and suspense is really good and its directed by Ron Howard.

I would recordmend this film.

I think I liked this film, I'll definitely have to see it at least once more to form a full opinion. But, for now:
The plot was engaging, but fairly predictable. It did a good job of checking off the boxes, how Han met Chewie, the Kessel Run, and winning the ship from Lando.
I don't think I can currently comment on Alden's Han, I'll definitely need to see it again. I don't think he was bad, but he needed to make the character his own. I'm not sure he really had a choice in that though.
I do take a slight issue with Donald Glover's Lando. I'm not particularly a Lando fan, I don't feel one way or another about him. Lando was schmaltzy, corny, and I don't need a stand alone Lando movie.
I think Ron Howard did a good job with fixing the film. And I liked that he threw his bro in as a cameo.
Also, the appearance of ... that character... great.

The final film starring John Wayne
Who knew that John Wayne's final film would star "The Duke" opposite Ron Howard? Also great performances by Lauren Bacall and James Stewart.

An notorious aging gunslinger learns he has inoperable cancer and decides to try and live out his final days in peace. Unfortunately, not to be as elements from his past come back to haunt him or just won't let him enjoy his final moments. He befriends a widow and her son as he rents a room from them. He wants to tie up some loose ends in his life before his time on Earth ends.

Still being a John Wayne novice, I thought his performance here was miraculous. He showed his usual toughness and charisma, but also real heart and vulnerability at times. You could see he felt remorse for some of his past actions and wanted to atone for them; however, life had other obstacles for him to overcome and to draw his relationships to their conclusion.

Very pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it.

Could have been so good!!!
Omg. If there was a book that could have been a great movie franchise,Dark Tower was that book. What the hell was Stephen King thinking with selling the rights to a no name director. I heard the only reason the director got the job was because the books helped him learn English.

Yeah ok so what? Just because I played a video game all the way through doesen't mean I should direct a movie version of it.

Why the hell was this a sequel to the books also? Not everyone has read the books. Newcomers aren't gonna understand this because they never read the books.

Idris Elba was a great Roland and sadly the only good thing about the movie. Matthew mccoughnahey was ok as the man in black. Honestly I thought Ray liotta would have been better.

This isn't a god awful movie,it's just a very poor take on the books. If Ron Howard had stayed on I know he would have nailed it.

**Warning! May contain spoilers, but I don't think so**

Watched the Solo movie last night. Did not really care so much for it, probably rank it down with Revenge of the Sith and the other prequels. The Solo actor's performance was tiresome at first and got a bit better, but still around Anakin level acting. Chewbacca got to flex his muscles, which was pretty cool. Emelia Clarke was gorgeous as per usual, her part was one of the better ones. Woody was decent, but he was kind of confusing when wearing Lando's helmet from RotJ, Lando himself was played quite well, his mannerisms and cadence was close to Billy Dee's. The villain was so generic and forgettable, he might have never been there at all, maybe I hallucinated it. The betrayal scene was so horrendously predictable, I nearly stopped watching. In the end the 'hero' walks into the sunset and credits roll. I would have thought much better writing from the Kasdan's and Ron Howard was the wrong director for this project.
