I was in an awful reading slump and I finally started reading this, knowing Cecelia Ahern always makes me love reading again, and I wasn’t wrong.
I loved Kitty so, so much. She’s a character whose life has been ruined by her mistakes but she still won’t let it completely take over her life. True, what she did wasn’t right when she didn’t collect all of the facts before outing a man. However, this sort of mistake could have ruined her career. But she uses the death of her best friend to fuel her to succeed and move on from her past. Her ability to eventually laugh with others over what happened is admirable, and what makes her such a brilliant character.
I also love the realism here. Kitty has her flaws and has made her mistakes, but so has every single other character in the novel. Everyone has their flaws and nothing is sugar-coated, giving a really strong realistic image.
There were a few moments when Kitty’s decisions annoyed me slightly, mainly later on in the novel where there is one occasion where she is quite spiteful, but in the end it all turns around and her spiteful decision actually helps the person she has a grudge against. I love that this spreads the message of sharing kindness instead of hatred.

Rage Inside: A Mysterious Man
Jack Reacher- is a good movie, it has a intresting plot, good action, good suspense and good thrills. It seems like their just wasted the support cast like Richard Jenkins, David Oyelowo, Rosamund Pike, Werner Herzog and Robert Duvall. Jai Country was a great villian and he didnt ruining this movie.
Other critics aka Screen Junkies, Jeremy Jahns and Chris Stuckmann say that Jai Country ruined this film, A Good Day To Die Hard, Terminator Gensyis and Suicide Squad. Those movie were already ruined since the start. With Die Hard, we didnt need anything one, with Terminator, it was the second trailer that gave everything away and Suicide Squad it was Jared Leto, so screw them. Their were wrong. Anyways...
The plot: One morning in an ordinary town, five people are shot dead in a seemingly random attack. All evidence points to a single suspect: an ex-military sniper who is quickly brought into custody. The man's interrogation yields one statement: Get Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise). Reacher, an enigmatic ex-Army investigator, believes the authorities have the right man but agrees to help the sniper's defense attorney (Rosamund Pike). However, the more Reacher delves into the case, the less clear-cut it appears.
I liked Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher he was really intresting as the charcter.
This movie was good, but does have its downfalls.

Erika (17788 KP) rated Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) in Movies

Initially, I really loved this film. I loved the nostalgia, and the fact that the original trio was brought back. I liked the new characters, and how everything came together. The opening scene was probably one of my favorites out of the film. The new trio had perfect casting, but I do think The Last Jedi ruined it a bit.
Then I realized I liked it so much because it mirrored A New Hope. Episode 4 is my favorite Star Wars film. Yes, it works, but Ep 4 does it better.
Anyway, I'm just glad this trilogy is being given back to Abrams to fix.

Not for me
The twist at the end is far too unbelievable, and in my opinion ruined the book a bit. It was a gripping read. The characters are well written and easy to get to know. I love the fact it's based around a earthly event. That was interesting to read about and learn. It does portray the baddy as the worst kind of baddy, which I think is a bit much, a regular baddy rather than an extreme one would have made this a better read in my opinion.

Fifteen years ago today, or two days from now, The Day After Tomorrow (2004) was released, which made scheduling this anniversary review somewhat tricky.
Until, at least, “2012” came out, “The Day After Tomorrow” was the undisputed holder of the critical-existential-threat-to-all-life-on-Earth-trivialised-by-hysterical-pseudo-science movie championship (the trophy is enormous) and while it may have added fossil fuel to the fires of ignorance over the conceptual dissonance of global warming and climate change, it also managed to tap into not just environmental fears, but touched older cultural nerves like ruined harvests and nuclear winters...

Was I supposed to like Daisy? Because I sure as hell didn't.
She ruined this entire book for me in all honesty. Gatsby and Tom were interesting and troubled characters who were both manipulated by pathetic ol' Daisy. She turns her back on Gatsby as soon as trouble arrives and I hate her for it, what gave her the right to treat him in such a way when all he ever did was love her and try to do what he thought would be best for her?
Don't read this book if you're easily annoyed by whiny women and bad things happening to good people.
