Peter (3 KP) rated Stranger Things in TV

It's well written and the acting is amazing especially when you think the main characters are so young. I didn't watch it untill everyone was going on about it which may have ruined it for me as it didn't live up to the hype. I found it a bit predictable at times and just wanted the story to pick up a bit. Season 2 for me was a lot better than the 1st

Inspirational. Emotional. This is a powerful 4 star read!
Truly inspirational book which tells of the power of love between a mother and her children.
Reading this you soon realise that Cara Brookins accomplished something so incredible following years of abuse. I found myself laughing, crying and at times biting my nails in horror at each inspiration chapter of this amazing family rise from their ruined old lives.
Thanks to NetGalley and St Martin’s Press for the advanced copy of this book.

Still leased by Sony, who has not been good at the superhero movie
Reclaim what is rightfully yours, Marvel!
He's a teen! He sucks at life! Being Spider-Man is burdensome!
I'll give it this: that's pretty damned close to perfect as far as the writing goes. That said, I'm sure Sony will screw it up, like that time they shoehorned in Venom into SM3 for toy purposes and ruined it. Sigh.

I actually didnt think id like this movie and had put off watching it for a bit.but just like the first one was plesently suprised .mix match cast worked well together action and effects good and jokes witch are usually pretty corny in movies like this i thought were funny.except for one monster they all looked real .they didnt need to do it so kinda ruined that part for me but pretty good real special effects other than that.

I was cranky at the end of this
As a massive Assassin's Creed fan, I was very excited for this movie. I really wanted to like it: the visuals were great, the fight scenes were fun, and an interesting story. However, there were statements said that are absolutely not true about the Assassins and this ruined most of the movie for me. As an action movie, it's pretty good and the fight scenes are exciting. The costuming was great, as were the actors.

Two Dimensional Characters (1 more)
Mediocre Script
Wasn't Bad, Wasn't Good
The story itself was very good, a very cute tale about a woman getting her son back from kidnappers, all taking placein the forest with wolves on the prowl. Although the story was decent the execution was terrible.
With a mediocre script and characters that brought nothing more than face value acting ruined this film.
I'll admit the scenes were executed with beautifully made scenery and anglings but thua was lost to the two dimensional execution of the actual storyline.

Erika (17788 KP) rated Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez in TV
Mar 21, 2020
I have mixed feelings about this documentary, well, mostly, about Aaron Hernandez. The series was fairly well balanced until the end, when people began providing reasons to excuse his behavior.
1) There are plenty of people who are closeted that don't murder people...
and
2) There are also many football players that have the same brain condition... and they don't go out and murder people.
Dude was obviously a psychopath, and I feel bad for his family, but I have zero sympathy for him. The last ep totally just... ruined it for me.

I loved the Vampire Academy series and held off reading this for ages thinking it might not have grabbed me as much as the other series but you know what? I got really into it! I always find Richelle's story quick and easy reads and this was no exception. If I could have, I'd have read this in one sitting but two long working days back to back ruined that idea and it's taken me four/five days instead.
I can't wait to read the rest of these books!!
