Intriguing and gripping from the first page.
Gary Born is a master at creating a vibrant and descriptive story. He has a way of transporting you through time that gets you lost, in a good way!
Sara West is our heroine, I love her. She is equal parts intelligent, brave and capable.
Sara is the first person we meet and it's apparent straight away that she is a strong independent woman.
I'm not going to head into too much detail as you seriously need to climb aboard for this cracking story and discover the twists for yourself.
I'd recommend savouring The File snuggled up on the sofa with snacks (you know this is my favourite thing by now). It would also be a great choice for a book club or just a casual thing with friends!

This series is so action packed at times, it's like a movie or tv show.
I figured that Sara and Nikolai would be something like that--I've read too many books about werewolves and vampires and the like to not figure it out.
I could happily stay up and read the third book in the series right now but I don't currently have it.

I won an ARC of this book from Goodreads. It is the story of Sara a 30 something adoptee who is getting married. Right off the bat she wants to look for her birth parents before her wedding. She finds her mom & eventually her dad. That's about all I can way without giving away the story.
It is told in a series of sessions as Sara is speaking to her therapist about what is going on in her life. It was an interesting perspecitve on things, though you never really hear any advice or thoughts from the therapist.
The ending was the hest part....didn't see it coming at all. The beginning was rather ho-hum, but as the story progresses you become sucked into the drama.
It did make me want to read Stevens's debut novel though. I really enjoy her writing style & well developed characters.

This novella is Chris Merit's POV and it begins straight after Revealing Us ends.
The story continues in Paris, You learn what happened to Chris and you get an inkling into what makes him tick. Sara gets to see the painted dragons and the real dragons in Chris's Paris life. I Loved this but it was over far to quick for me and I just want more...

Oooh, this series!
Admittedly some bits bore me (generally the history associated with the treasure hunting) but the actual treasure hunting itself? Well, that bits fun. Very Indiana Jones/Lara Croft only with tarot cards. But really, for me, it's Sara and the Magician, and that chemistry they have burning between them. Please tell me that reaches boiling point soon..?
And then that bit at the end. Need book 6!<br/>

O.M.G.!!! It's been a while since I read Relentless and now I've got a major urge to read it again, just so I can immerse myself in Sara's story right from the word go.
This is one of those books that I bought immediately after I finished Relentless, but just never got the chance to read before life got in the way. Let me just say, that since I've finished this, life isn't going to get a chance to get in the way as I am starting Rogue straight away!!
In Refuge, Sara is living in a 'military-style compound' where she was dumped by Nikolas. Let's just leave it at he is not her favourite person right now. She is struggling in training as she fears losing control of her Mori demon. She hasn't really made new friends, instead stays in phone contact with Roland, Peter, and of course, Uncle Nate.
There is too much to give you a rundown of this book, and seriously, why on earth would I do that? That's what the synopsis is for!! Suffice it to say, Sara has a big learning curve in front of her. With her magic, she is learning new 'tricks', as well as receiving her very own early warning vampire radar.
So many bits made me smile, so many bits made me frustrated for Sara, but most of all, I can't wait to see where it will go next. With one heckuva cliffhanger that really Nikolas should have seen coming a mile off knowing Sara (remember, I'm writing this before reading Rogue so I have no idea if he realises or not!)
If you want a paranormal romance that is full of Mori demons, the fae, griffins, Alex the wyvern (love him!), hellhounds, vampires, shifters, absolutely gripping, full of action and adventure, romance, and 'real-life' reactions, then look no further. I really can't recommend this highly enough!!!

This is my very first Sara Brookes novel and I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by it. I was browsing NetGalley when this book stood out to me. I'm glad that I was accepted to read this book.
I will admit, mfm is one of my favorite genres on the more taboo side of romance. Unfortunately, not many authors know how to write the book where it is believable and sexy. Sara Brooks, seemed to find that medium where everything was good and a little more believable.
I loved the fact that this book took place over a long period of time. There was instant connection but not insta love which i really appreciated. The characters were fun to read though I would have liked a little more growth when it came to the main characters. For some reason though I know there was growth, I just feel like there should have been more.
I will admit that this book was a change up because it features two bisexual men and one woman. I'm not one for the male on male scenes so those were interesting to read even though they're not my cup of tea.
All in all, I enjoyed it. I liked the concept. Loved the fact that two of the characters were geeks and I will definitely add Sara Brookes to my "author to follow" list.
*If you didn't already catch it, I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Betrayal ( Destine Academy 10)
By Sara Snow
⭐️⭐️⭐️
With Tempeste and The Entiere getting closer with every passing minute…
Caroline is FORCED to make decisions that could impact not only her own life but those of her friends.
The whole of Destine Academy has prepared for this moment, and as they stand alongside Caroline, they must draw on all the magic they can muster if they have any chance of victory.
Yet victory always comes at a cost, and Caroline must ask herself if it’s a price she’s willing to pay—and live with.
The final installment of the Destine Academy series is not be missed as the long-awaited confrontation between Caroline and Tempeste takes place, ultimately deciding the fate of them all.
That went exactly as expected I have loved this series in its short bursts and how much sara snow packs into these books.
On to the next series.

[This is How I Find Her] by [Sara Polsky] was a different take on dealing with mental illness for YA. Instead of the teen struggling with her own mental illness she is struggling with her mom who suffers from it. [Polsky] does a good job showing the struggles of those who love someone who has a mental illness in all different ways. I will be adding this book to my classroom library.
