A great Spanish ghost story/thriller which I'm sure said it was directed by Guiilermo Del Toro? I saw the trailer and had to see this. It's very creepy at times, largely due to the spooky location. It's a very good story well told and directed. Reminded me of The Others, The 6th sense most of all, so if you like those you'll love this.

Wow. I was looking forward to the new Mission: Impossible film. But this delivered far beyond my expectations. I first noticed when my hands were sweating from the stress of the movie.

I think my favorite part was when I saw the sunrise at the end of the film and I thought that the explosion had killed everyone. The expectation subversion was perfect.

This movie has an interesting premise and a good cast. The production value is pretty good. The plot is full of holes, though, and it could have much more interesting. I was mostly intrigued by the android bartender character. I saw him in the promos for the movie when it first came out and he did not disappoint. The rest of the movie fell flat.

I picked up this volume, along with volume 2 when I saw it was the same writer of Atomic Blonde (Coldest City). The volume follows an heiress who is now in the US after fleeing Russia, and she happens to be a mercenary.
Of course, there were some Black Widow vibes, but I really liked it. It was engaging, and a quick read.

It is a 3.5-4 star book.
Everless a world where time is money and time is found in blood. This is a great concept and engaging book. A bit slow to start, however, once it gets going it's on. It can get a little redundant from time to time, still worth the read. Also, I never saw that ending coming; things aren't always as they seem.

Great movie
I really enjoyed this, but at times it was heart breaking. The other kids were horrible, but not unrealistic. My favorite thing about this movie was that it was told through multiple points of view. My opinion of some characters changed when I saw things from there shoes. It was a great reminder that everyone goes through hard ships that shape there actions.

Not bad
Finally saw this one and it entertained. The story was fairly predictable but still keeps your attention. The acting was good, although I think there could've been a better choice than Phoenix for the Joker. The cinematography was very well done. It was dark and fitting for the story and character. Overall this movie was pretty good, but I wouldn't say "great". Worth a watch!

"This was the first Louise Bourgeois show I ever saw, at IMMA (Irish Museum of Modern Art) in Dublin. Her work has become a sort of religion to me. Even though her work was so personal to her, I felt like her words were coming out of my mouth. I adore many of her books but this was my very first, so it's very special to me"

"You know, I loved the early records, Axis: Bold As Love, loved Electric Ladyland; it was fantastic. I loved his bravado and the feedback. All his guitar playing is amazing, but seeing him do 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at Woodstock, you know, that's pretty amazing. And also at Monterey Pop, when he sets fire to the guitar, for me, when I first saw that..."
