Ok, but far from groundbreaking.
After watching the first Insidious (which was reasonably enjoyable), I found myself wanting to see the second, but was disappointed with what I saw.

Chapter Two was basically the same as chapter one, not particularly scary, and relying heavily on jump scares. Jump scares are fun, but not when it's the only scare the film provides.

"Getting a little more progressive now, the whole math / metalcore thing of the late 90s, especially around Boston, was very much my thing at the time. Botch were a little more left field, geographically, and musically, but I still think this is probably the best album of that genre and era. I saw them a bunch of times when they were touring this and they were always totally fucking incredible."

"The English Patient I saw when I was really young, and the love story just devastated me, I think. You know, I was just sobbing. I loved it. Beautiful images. Something that can evoke that much emotion out of me — I was just really moved. So those are five that just come straight to the surface. You must get all kinds of people naming these obscure-ass movies though, right?"

Oh My God! What a story! I loved it; how you saw they're relationship develop and Camryn's confidence grow. It was an amazing story and recommend it to others.

!!Spoiler Alert!!

That last twelve % was hard to read through my tears, i'm just glad it all worked out in the end considering and as Natalie said "it would be a cruel fairy-tale" if it hadnt worked out.

"I just rewatched it a little while ago. With Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet. I thought that was incredible. A love story with, again, layers of intricacy and just figuring out all these little details. It was also the first time I saw Jim Carrey when he wasn’t being funny or doing a comedy, and that really pulled me in. I was like, “Wait what’s this?” I was captivated."

"I think I must have been the first person to review this film in Canada. I was the film editor of the campus newspaper in 1978, and the film distributor thought it would connect with students. I still have the original press kit somewhere. I hadn’t been this immersed in a crazy dream since I saw Un chien andalou, and still firmly believe that in heaven, everything is fine."

"I first saw this in 1995, when I was seventeen. My boyfriend actually left the room because it was too intense; he apparently couldn’t stomach the potent cocktail of Chloe Webb’s screeching and Gary Oldman’s rheumy-eyed menace. Even though the movie was set in a time we couldn’t remember, it mirrored our teen zeitgeist in a lot of ways. We’d just made it through the second wave of punk."

"The one [film] that made me want to be an actor is [Franco] Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet. I went and saw it and, because there might have been some sex scenes, I had to sit in front of my mom, and any time those beautiful young people took off their clothes, I would feel her hand clamp down on my eyes [laughing]. But that’s when I went, “Yes, that!'"
