"I saw this when I was a teenager, and was struck by the nudity and atmosphere. Then I met Haskell Wexler and watched his film again, and realized that it is Godard in America—fragmented, passionately political, inventive, and seductive."

"A kinetic masterpiece by Bob Fosse. One of the best-edited films of all time. Roy Scheider deserves more recognition for his work. First saw this in a double feature with Lenny, which every art-house theater programmer should schedule."

"When I saw this, I remember thinking, Oh, so this is what everyone has been ripping off. Watching Marianne and Johann’s marriage dissolve is terrifying and hilarious and chilling. Watch the long TV version. Make sure to have Prozac handy."

"The first time I saw this film, I was totally mesmerized. Like Tarkovsky, Melville transports you to another place and you have to play by his rules, at his pace. It’s all about control. There’s no step out of place."

"My number one favorite film was the first film I ever saw — I was six-years-old before I ever went to the movies — and that film is the original King Kong. It’s still, I think, the best King Kong."

I love all the Saw movies! The main bad guy is so creepy. Although warning, if you don't like gore don't watch them. I have even had to turn away once or twice and gory movies don't usually bother me.

Sequel to 2019s 'Knives Out', with Daniel Craig's Benoit Blanc the only returning character from that earlier movie.

Again, this is pleasant enough but not exceptional, with a few twists and turns I saw coming but others which I didn't.
