I'm not sure how I stumbled across this film but I am glad I did. It's not very well known but considering the cast includes Jared Padalecki (Sam from Supernatural), Lindy Booth and even Jon Bon Jovi amongst others, as well as being made fairly recently it deserves better publicity! It has a good plot, good acting and a good twist too. It's not that scary to be honest and won't satisfy gore fans but otherwise an all round enjoyable film. Similar to Urban Legend, Scream and another slasher but I won't name it as it'll give the twist away!

Thought provoking and sometimes scary as hell!
I love this podcast. Paranormal investigators, Dave and Tim talk over all topics from ghost to aliens, cryptids and everything in between. Weekly they do a Supernatural News and Parashare episode that is one of the highlights of my podcast feed. Other episodes are very topic driven and guest driven. Make sure you give it at least 3 episodes to decide if you like it or not.

This book is beautiful, so stunning from the cloth bound cover to the illustrations and card pages. It's so good I don't want anyone to touch it. The presentation is on point. The book is about loss, friendship and courage. The fox is guided by the star in the dense woods, with the stars illiumination the fox is able to run around eating bugs and chasing rabbits until one day the star is gone and everything is dark and scary. The fox must make a journey through the dark woods to find his star and leave his comfort zone.

Not bad
I've been waiting to see this one for a while. Finally found it on Netflix. The acting was decent and cinematography was good. I'm glad they didn't take the "found tapes" route like most horror movies anymore. The story moved along at a good pace and it had enough "spook" factor to keep it interesting. There were a few "jump scares" that, well, weren't that scary but were placed well. A couple of parts were kinda predictable but it didn't take away from the overall appeal of the film. I'd definitely recommend this one. Worth a watch!

Good movie
This movie takes place before the events in the conjuring movies, and it ties everything together really well. It was creepier than the other movies, and will make you jump a lot.
The characters were likable, but they made a lot of bad decisions that make you question whether or not they will make it to the end of the movie.
Overall the movie was really good, but one event in the end didn't make sense. It's something I didn't think about until after the movie, so I don't think most people will notice right away.

This book totally messed with my head! I loved it!

I'll admit it's a strange one and I haven't read anything like it before so to me it's definitely original. It's also very creepy and very tense. The author is great at building tension, it starts from the very first page and doesn't let you go until the end...even then you'll be thinking about it with your night-light on.
It's pretty scary to think this kind of thing happens in real life...talk about nightmare neighbours.

An interesting movie with a decent twist
So we started this movie as all movies, bright eyed and bushy tailed, ready to be scared. It's not a scary movie, there are some 'woh, what the hell?' moments, but that was it. It kept your interest, and there was 1 shocking scene that I wont spoil. On the whole the movie was pretty decent, after all was said and done it's not a movie I would rewatch, but it was good for the moment.
