What is essentially a heartwarming family story with sci-fi and Eco overtones starts promisingly and doesn't confuse too much, the final act however quickly loses you in it's very own event horizon and is very tough going, not for everyone!

I'm not sure why this book gets so much flack! It's a 90's Sci-Fi novel...of course it's a bit over-the-top! That's how we rolled in the 90's :c)

Classic 80s sci fi thriller better than the sequels and the remake peter weller is perfect as murphy and robocop with support from nancy allen some of the violence is abit too much bloody but thats okay thumbs up
