Movie Metropolis (309 KP) rated Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) in Movies

This is the best type of filler. Paul Rudd’s charismatic hero returned to the big-screen in a sequel that was fun, if not as interesting as its predecessor. The villain is good though and definitely better than the irritating Yellowjacket.
Michelle Pfieffer adds a touch of class to proceedings, even if she’s an underused presence and the return of Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym is great fun. This second outing for the pint-sized hero is great to watch, if completely forgettable.

Why!?
You wait 21 years for a sequel to a cult classic and this is all we get? It's very poor saved at times only by Corey Feldman returning in his original role and not looking much older, maybe he is a vampire too? It's a bit like a not so good take on of Buffy, just with more gore and nudity, essential for straight to DVD horrors. Some parts were ok but the overall film just makes you think what a missed opportunity. Watch once if you are curious.
This is the sequel to Me Before You. It picks up roughly 6 months after the book ends. Louisa had been traveling and returned to London. She is working in an airport bar pretty much hating the job. She meets Sam, an ambulance worker at the same time that someone from Will's past comes into her life. The book goes through Lou and the tentative beginnings of a relationship with Sam, dealing with some unexpected family issues in addition to this person from Will's past and all the feelings that dredges up. Very well written.

I am not normally a fan of books without a “proper” ending, however this book finishes in the perfect place.
It follows Mia after a terrible car accident when she then has to decide is she wants to stay. The book is written very well between what is happening now and previous events from Mia’s life.
This book will make you think about life and death and how you would cope with certain situations.
Very exciting, it would appear there is a sequel set a few years later.

It's rare that a superhero film has no bad points and you actually care about the supporting characters, this film is just that ,Michelle Pfeiffer looks great (so does evangeline lilly) and Michael Pena adds some really funny comic moments to a film that is already a funny film ,all in all a great sequel to a great superhero film only let down by the character of Ghost ,with an all star supporting cast like michael Douglas and Lawrence Fishburn it's a great way to spend 2odd hrs

Not a bad read. I would only change the pace of the story is all. The author took waaaaaay too long to clue us in to what was happening. I nearly stopped reading it a couple of times. I will however, give the benefit of the doubt to the author. The ending of this story made-up for some of my pacing disappointment. I still haven't decided if I want to read more of what happens or not. I wish I were more enthusiastic about the sequel but I just think this story was alright.

Honestly, I barely remember any of the Predator movies, so I had little to no expectations going into the film. It was alright. The film had a great start, but then it devolved into silliness. And, prepare people, they set it up for a sequel, of course.
One thing that bothered me was Olivia Munn's character. She was a biologist, but somehow, she was holding the guns like she held them before. Was she supposed to be ex-military? Does she play a lot of Halo? I was completely confused.

Wow! One of the best books I've ever had the pleasure of reading! Totally original plot, superbly written, with amazing world building and well developed characters. It sucked me in from page one and never let go, I flew thru the story and was left wanting when the end came (far too quickly, mind you, as this is one I never wanted to end) and what an ending it was! I absolutely can't wait for the sequel! Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to read and review this title!!

A not too bad direct to DVD sequel. You don't need to have seen the first as it doesn't carry on any of that storyline, apart from the department store. As with most straight to DVD horror sequels you can expect more blood, gore, kills and nudity with a lesser known cast. The first half was ok, after that the story is way too simple and predictable. Slightly different feel to the atmospheric first. The gore effects are good though. Worth a rent if you liked the first.

A nice, quick and enjoyable read. I should say that I shouldn't really class this short story as a 'romance' as it is more of a dose of 'smut'...but good smut I might add.
It outlines the bully/victim relationship with a splash of attraction and lust leaving the reader wanting more. In my personal opinion I can not stand bullies and people who abuse others so it makes me cringe a bit when these people are so easily forgiven. Even so I would definitely consider reading the possible sequel.
