Paddington 2 (2017)
2017 | Animation, Comedy, Family
2017 sequel to the family friendly 2015 original, this was at one point the #1 ranked film on Rotten Tomatoes and sees Paddington Bear framed for robbery and sent to prison whilst the Browns seek to clear his name.

A veritable who's who of British acting talent show up in this one.

Characters are weak
Poor ending
Should have been better
I really wanted to enjoy this film but unfortunately I just couldn't. So I'll start by saying the action scenes are great and the quality of the CGI is top notch but that's about it, the story is fairly weak and the characters are very 2 dimensional I never really felt for the things that were happening to them it didn't pull me in. The ending was poor and you know its lining up for a sequel which is the mistake they make, they should have made it longer and actually finished it as I can't imagine a sequel will help in any way. I would say wait for the Netflix release. ?

MCU Sequel
As we all know sometimes sequels can let us down. This one was par for the course. We catch up with Spiderman doing his good deeds, still being love sick with Mary Jane and now dealing with his friend harry wanting the death of spiderman because he thinks he killed his dad and he is the head of Oscorp. Our new villian is Dr. Octopus. A physicist whose experiment goes wrong cause a robotic set of arms graphing to his spinal cord.
We also see Spiderman faltering during this movie losing some of his powers cause he relies on them too much and not himself. Not bad for a sequel and it keeps with the comic book better than most.

An unnecessary sequel
It's getting to be a shame that they keep making these films. The first one was great, the second alright and the standalone Minions film was terrible. Sadly this third film is nothing to write home about.

It's not terrible, it's just missing the magic from the original film. Bratt is admittedly a fun bad guy and the 80s theme is actually quite entertaining. It's just a shame that the rest of the film is a little lacklustre and almost boring. There's not a lot of humour, and the minions aren't featured as much as they used to which is a bad move. It's just an entirely unnecessary sequel, and I really wish they had just left it after the first film.

I have mixed feelings at the unnecessary Zombieland sequel. I loved the original Zombieland. It was smart to take a lot from the original for this sequel, so, it was very much the same. I can't decide if that was a good or a bad thing.

Zoey Deutch's character was super annoying, and reminded me of all the basic b*s in 2009. I also found the doppleganger thing, and relentless repeating of the rules similarly annoying.
The zombie kills were cool, and I did like the way they were explaining the different sorts of zombies.

Overall, I liked it, but it was much of the same. I guess if it ain't* broke, don't fix it.
* I do not use ain't IRL, but it's the saying.

I re-watched this movie yesterday evening in preparation for the release of the sequel this coming Friday. I'm not a huge scary movie/zombie movie fan, but I do make an exception for zom-coms.
Columbus' rules are hilarious, and I love the way they're featured in the film. But, the best part of this film is the amount of quotable lines throughout. Nut up or shut up is one of the best. I'm also afraid of clowns, so the whole clown scene and 'F*ck this clown' was my favorite part.
The Bill Murray scenes are some of my favorites as well.

Does this movie need a sequel? No, definitely not, BUT I'll still go see it (now I'm part of the problem).

Movie for those who love history
FOr me an avid person who loves history this was right up my alley. I was able to solve every clue but still was amazed by certain aspects. I am glad they made a sequel and I hope they keep coming up with more but, only if same cast is used.

Strategy
Amplitude made a concerted effort to improve upon the foundation of the original while adding in some interesting lore building elements. It’s impressive that there’s been no regression in the quest to craft the sequel.

Crazy action scenes
Manners maketh man
A real surprise hit along the lines of an alternative Bond film. Ruder, violent, and funnier than most Bond films or other spoofs of. It's made so well with an all star cast, some cool action scenes and bonkers plot, make it highly entertaining. Can't wait for the sequel.

Good all round cast
Entertaining Action/Thriller
A decent sequel of sorts to @The Fugitive (1993) as the same group of US Marshals track down another man on the run. It's not as indepth as as the first film, but if you enjoyed that you should like this.
