Great for those who haven't read the book recently
I was super excited about this TV series having recently read the book. It started off very strong but I've found as the series progressed it left the story line of the book behind in various parts. I have also struggled with the lack of tangible chemistry between the main characters.

I think those viewers that haven't read the book will enjoy it much more because it isn't having to measure up against anything.

Outstanding Programing
Sir David Attenborough once again narrates a series full of astonishing creatures, and some if the most stunning shots I have ever seen. Like the original series, it is broken down into sections, each showing a habitat such as jungles, the deep sea ect. And how the animals within deal with the challenges of that habitat. It is another beautiful showcase of the founders of the natural world and is a MUST see for all nature documentary fans.

The story is finally taking baby steps in a forward direction again. It had seemed like it was at a standstill for the last couple of volumes. Volume 10 focuses on Tae-Jun, his awe of Yona, and his need to please her even though his king would not approve. This character is probably the dumbest, most clueless character in the series. He is, at least in the series, so far. So that brought some necessary lightness and humor to the story.

I don't know anything about this series, so maybe it's an anime that makes more sense. However, as manga, only in the first volume, it's jumpy and confusing. It seems like it's written, assuming that the reader already knows about the world that the characters have been sent to. For me, it was confusing with not enough explanation at times. On a side note, this series is NOT for younger readers. There is a little nudity and some adult situations in it.
