Still not a patch on the first series, but a very gripping drama following the investigation of a rape in a small rural west country town. Very emotional scenes and the whole ordeal was very well handled.

Story is great and entertaining enough. Characters are likable. My only issue was it's just not as good as say shopaholick series. Still my absolutely favourite author. Highly recommended

This series rubs me the wrong way. The acting is ok. Both main actors are great as other characters but the books are written poorly with the movie scripts following in short order. Don't waste your time.
