So, truth: I wasn't happy with how this book ended... and it's the last in the series!!! There are so many open-ended plot holes that were never answered. And there was a weird twist with one of the secondary characters that I wasn't expecting... it left somewhat of an odd taste in my mouth.......

But there is some good news! Day is working on a kinda spin-off series that is supposedly going to answer some of the questions and plot holes left unanswered. So we shall see.

Very good book, especially for the young adult market. I love the fact that Vaughn doesn't write much differently here than she does in her established series, so she doesn't feel like she's talking down to teens at all.

There's one thing that really bugs me, but if I bring up exactly what it is, it will be a spoiler. I will say that I don't honestly think that every YA book or series really has to include a particular sort of negative experience in order for the protagonist to experience growth.

As the world reels from a bunch of natural disasters, Grant Borrows and his super powered friends become heroes. But have they escaped the plans of the Secretem? This is the second book in a Christian fantasy series. While I loved the first, this one fell too much into middle book syndrome. The first half was slow, but the second half really picked up. Definitely read this series in order.

Book works paradise
I love using Goodreads to keep track of all the different books I read. It is my favorite app, not just for setting and tracking goals, but for finding new authors, discovering new genres, and figuring out where a series starts. It has saved me hours and money by telling me in what order a series goes, as well as little inbetween stories to read. I love how simple and user friendly it is, and that you can sync it with your kindle

Actually should have been 4.5 stars! I really love this series! I am half-way through the second book (realized I forgot the review...oops!)...

This one take you on a ride! I had a few hair-pulling moments, wanting answers before the author was ready to give them...thinking I had it figued out and then oh no...I love books I can't figure out half-way through!

All-in-all though...it's great! Read it! Have the rest of the series handy though...you will not be able to wait for book 2!

Pokemon Snap is a truly unique Pokemon game it differs from the normal series titles with its emphasis on Pokemon photography a totally different side of the Pokemon world

this is one of a few side Pokemon games that weren't part of the main series

But for some reason this has never got a sequel and that's a crime

Heartbreakingly fantastic (0 more)
Not for the faint hearted but it is incredible how much suspense can be wrapped up in these few pages. It’s drawn to really captivate you and make you care about every person in one way or another. The battles they ensue and the cleverness in the plot makes this such an amazing read that I hope it is a long standing series as it deserves it!
I wouldn’t start this series until a lot more are realised as I’m addicted and they are not released quick enough!

And introducing Paul Rudd!
Wow what a low point in the Halloween series.

Michael is back to finish up murdering every surviving member of the Strode family in this nonsense entry in the series. Hard to believe 6 years after the last installment this is the best they could come up with.

Production problems plagues the film which I'm sure didn't help. It was painful to watch.

Too bad this had to be the last appearance of Dr. Loomis due to the death of Donald Pleasance.

Binge watchers dream!
I I begrudgingly started watching this after it was recommended by several friends. I wasn’t expecting much as I as sup it was a series remake of house on haunted hill (it isn’t).
I was pleasantly surprised, however, & binge watched the series in 2 days.
It’s got some good scares, a great story and a fab cast. Worth a watch!

I first came across Rachel Caine when I was reading her Weather Warden books which, by and large, I all found to be rather enjoyable. This was the first of her books not in that series that I have read: unfortuantely, I found it to be a distinct drop in quality from that other series.

I found this to be actually quite morbid in places, and also seemed to take forever to go nowhere in particular. To me, it lacked the beating heart (pun intended) of a good story!
