Mills & Boon meets fantasy and VAMPIRES!
As a fan of reading the short Mills & Boon books as a divider between larger more intense novels, I was pleasantly surprised with this one. This was Mills and Boon meets fantasy and vampires, a brilliant page turner, demolished in just over an hour.
Not reading the previous stories in the Valorian Chronicles, I was not familiar with the characters but this did not effect the enjoyment of book.
If you like fantasy and mass market paperback romance, you will certainly enjoy this. Be aware that the adult scenes are not your standard "cute" romance.

This started quite strong and I was enjoying it but then at the 50% mark when the sex started I...got bored. I don't know what's wrong with me lately, but sex scenes are annoying me.

Anyway, I liked the plot, though the thing with Cora was a bit of a surprise (I wont spoilt it by mentioning it in my review) near the end.

With it being short (finishes around the 85% mark) there wasn't that much to it, but it was good for a short read. And it being a paranormal romance with a dragon shifter makes it slightly different to all the others out there.

A short 74 pages but a good story (if you like short novella types), it's a twisted horror that I randomly came across on Amazon and thought it looked good so I popped it in my wish list and received as an anonymous swap which makes me feel a little better... mainly because if I personally had paid over £5 for a book to then have it arrive as less than 100 pages, I wouldn't have been impressed at all. I understand costs need to be covered but had I noticed the page count initially this would not have made it to my list.

Great twists
Great British Drama
One of the best British Dramas I've seen in ages. Only watched it along with the second series earlier this year. Quite short at 5 episodes but it really packs a punch. The tension and drama as the story unravels is excellent.

I must say that the title and the synopsis had me intrigued but I practically pulled out my hair as I found this to be a dull read and forced myself to finish reading it. Reading true crime has always captivated me but unfortunately this one just fell short.
