Whoever translated this from the French is an excellent writer themselves. The language is nothing short of elegant, and reminiscent of Ondaatje. The story is simple but the characters are so vivid and special, they draw you in. Simply a lovely read from start to finish (and the twist in the end isn't bad, either).

True crime documentaries are my jam. But, this one fell really short. There were only four episodes, and they didn't really go into much depth on the evidence or techniques for a show called 'Exhibit A'. The cases were interesting, but the amount of time spent on them was frustrating.

Just another Netflix bummer.

Well, that was ... strange.

Trying to be a 'Guardians of the Galaxy' style film, I thought, but falls well short of that other film.

I don't know whether NOT playing the games (I haven't) is either a help or a hindrance - I've heard it takes liberties, but am unable to say which or how much!
