MusicCritics (472 KP) rated Younger Now by Miley Cyrus in Music
Oct 11, 2017
The songs are deliberately low-affect, if short on personality compared to her other albums. But the attention-getter is the finale "Inspired," where she writes a folksy country ballad to express some of her fears about climate change

GameCritics (290 KP) rated Drive Girls in Video Games
Nov 2, 2017
Drive Girls is for those Vita fans out there that are dying to play an action game from Tamsoft and can’t wait for some of their other games to come West. The game fails to deliver a proper fighting system or campaign to make it worth the short gameplay

Shaun Collins (3 KP) rated Doctor Who: Circular Time in Books

4 short stories make up Big Finish's first foray into anthology storytelling, and there isn't a bad one in the bunch. Outstanding storytelling, great acting (especially by my favorite guest star, David Warner) a deepening of the special relationship that five and Nyssa share, and a finale to die for. This might be my favorite Fifth Doctor story of the line thus far. Great audio!

Just the opposite from my last Big Finish review, (check out www.travelingthevortex.com for more thoughts). These four short vignettes are good. (Well, the first one is merely okay, the second and fourth ones are good. The third, "Bedtime Story" is hands down one of the best audios I have EVER listened too. I don't have enough words to describe how awesome this one is.

Will I ever find the "One"
Finished this in only a few sittings. The short chapters keep you engrossed and you eagerly await to see how each character responds to finding their Match. It's crazy to think how plausible this could be a few decades from now... how much simpler would dating be without the agonising search for your genetically perfect partner?!
Suswatibasu (1701 KP) rated Difficult Women in Books

Slightly disappointed, slightly repetitive
I was absolutely gearing up for Roxane Gay's latest book which turned out to be a mish mash of interesting short stories, intersecting racism, classism and sexism. The only issue was about 75% of the book seemed to repeat itself. It seemed to be missing a trick - there are more to women's lives than men, which was the main focus.

Great Sfx
Tokyo Show down
Monster Mash
A simple and short action film that pacts a big punch. It doesn't disappoint when it comes to the action watching giant robots and alien creatures have a scrap in a major city. Would have been nice to see a few more robot designs and more alien screen time. If you liked the first one you'll enjoy this.

Very interesting plot and unexpected ending
This novel was as strange as it is haunting. It lends itself to a very vivid picture, so much that I envisioned Matthew McConaughey as the perfect Terrance. The plot is unique and even though it is a short read it packs a hefty punch. Some of the internal monologue is a bit slow but it mostly keeps you guessing.

Not bad, but probably not the best book to start reading James Bond with, I think. Honestly, I don’t know as I would read any more anyway. This was for my library’s reading challenge (a colour), and at least it was short!
Scaramanga is the villain of this piece, and I have to admit to preferring the film to the book - not something I’ve actually experienced before!!

this book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed this book, the characters were fab and the story was well written. this book is definitely a sweet read but it is a short one, leaving you wanting more at the end. the ending is fab and the book ends perfectly
