A decent film
An interesting story with a good soundtrack which plays a strong part in the film. The lead character played by Aml Ameen is the stand out performance. It's not got the most intricate plot and it would have been nicer to have a bit more of the music. Often used for a very short time. Worth catching if not quite reaching dizzy heights.

Very poor
A really poor collection of 3 short horror stories. All looking very outdated and silly, the acting is terrible apart from George Kennedy in the first story. The 2nd and 3rd stories barely have a plot to mention. The animation inbetween is rather poor as well, should have stuck with Tom Savini in the mask, rather than the cartoon. There are much better horror anthologies out there!

I won this book in a Kindle giveaway, and I'm mixed when it comes to this book. There are a bunch of beautiful and funny short poems in here, but then there are a few that are either repetitive or made me ask, "Why does this exist?" I'm still gonna keep this book, so I can share it with friends, but I'm probably not gonna read this over and over again.

The Wedding of Popeye and Olive had all of the main characters in it, plus a rich ex of Olive's that wanted to steal her away. She was kidnapped, and Bluto tried to get her back at the same time as Popeye. The story was short, cute, and stayed true to the Popeye characters. However, the illustrations were more modernized. I wasn't a huge fan of that change.

Might have been more effective if the blurb of the book hadn't given away what is meant to be the 'big reveal' (about approximately 1/4 of the way in), and a lot of the book is not in describing the actions: "I did this, then that", but how the protaganist feels in carrying them out: (almost) "I felt like this while doing that"

In short: could've been better.

A book of why I write by people who write
A book of short essays from poets writing about the art of poetry. Look out for Kathleen Jamie's essay on truth, very insightful. Some of the book was like a massive tongue twister whilst others where thought provoking. Worth a read if you want an insiders view.

Eddie could do no wrong at this early stage of his career and his fresh take on comedy was nothing short of amazing and this film was one of the best of his 80's line up.
It's a fish out of water story peppered with Murpy's unique ultra cool flare and timing which makes this one of the best 80's cop movies and an instant classic.

Volume 3 of Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash is the final volume. I thought the short series was wrapped up in a just okay manner. The team went through a major battle and came out the other side, but at the end, they are still in their roles in this unknown world. I was hoping they would find out more about how they got there or their pasts.

Remains one of my favorite movies in any genre.
No, I didn't watch the ridiculous TV reboot or the short-lived Broadway show, nor will I. The original holds up just fine with its commentary on society and political correctness. Christian Slater does some of his best work, and Winona Ryder can do no wrong. Plus, baby Shannen Doherty! (she's just 17 here!)

An absolute classic in my book.

This was a really nice short read. I really enjoyed it and cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of the series. I liked the character development of the female lead. It had some incredible twists and turns. And who doesn’t like forbidden love? I really couldn’t put this down and devoured it in one sitting. I won’t say too much so you can enjoy it for yourself
