This is a short story that was published in the New Yorker. The tale is strange and intriguing and fits perfectly into Ishiguro’s style. I listened to this story on the New Yorker’s fiction podcast which I would highly recommend as the reader spends time discussing the story as well as giving a reading. I really enjoyed this story and would definitely recommend it.This is a short story that was published in the New Yorker. The tale is strange and intriguing and fits perfectly into Ishiguro’s style. This was an extremely short story. On my Nook it was a total of 15 pages. Personally I think that it was captivating. I want to know what happened before, what happened later etc. I will say that I would definitely want more from this short story. I read it in less than 10 minutes and I am definitely disappointed that there was only 15 pages.

Fun, short read
This book is a short read, but is way too similar to Thinner and doesn't quite match that book's ingenuity and excitement. It is a good story, very good, but lacks the originality I've come yo expect from King.

My first C.H. read!
This novel kept me on my toes! The main character is faced with the decision of old/new love. Who will she choose?

A little erotic story involving twins losing their virginity. The overall story was steamy but some parts seemed silly and took away from the overall experience. I don't have a twin, so I am not sure I would understand. It read like a short story one would read on literotica, though.

"I first read this in college. I’m really into short story collections and essays, they’re my jam. I talk a lot and I’m very verbose in my writing, but she’s very much the opposite. Sometimes she’ll have a short story that is a page and it’s brilliant, and you’re like, ‘Oh, you can do that, cool.’ A phenomenal book. I usually don’t reread books, but I’ve reread this one."
