Excellent Short Read
I really enjoyed reading this book. I found the word choices and usage to be somewhat simple, which left me disappointed. However, I found the character development and story line relatable and compelling. A short read, but worth it. Looking forward to sharing my experience with my book group.

Short and sweet
A great addition to the wizarding world collection. This is a short but sweet read with a few stories that are "classics for young wizards". JK Rowling was clever to think of adding commentaries by Dumbledore after each story, this really feels like Dumbledore is engaging with the reader. What's not to like?

Only when I finished this short-story did I realise that I was holding my breath. It was one of those stories that made things hit home...how messed up society is. It was so effective that it changed my whole mood, I was disgusted. I highly recommend that people should read this, it's very short but very effective. I knocked one star off because it was so short, it had potential to be so much more.

I was quite surprised by this book, as while purchasing I was sure this will be an exact story from the tv show, but since I'm a fan it didn't bother me much. I must admit it is well written short story, that has a very vivid story line and the absorbing action. Overall I find it nice and easy to read.

I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review.

This is a wonderful short story addition to Alec and Adri's story. It fills in some details on both of their sides and you can see just how the break up affects both of them. This is a short story but it still has enough detail to make it feel totally worthwhile whilst reading it.

A brilliant snapshot of the consequences of making a decision and then having doubts or having to deal with that decision.

Really short. I think there could be so much more to this story and would love to see it fully developed. That said it catches the emotions of the characters and the situation fully.

The story, itself, wasn't very interesting. It laid the groundwork for an attack, but it lasted for the whole volume. The two short extra stories at the end of the volume were more interesting.

The description of this short story is quite self explanatory. It tells a story of a lawyer Henry, who works for Russian mafia’s head, Vance. During one of the meetings with another mafia family, Henry’s friend Julie, gets killed. He supposed to take care and protect Julie, but he failed, and he wants revenge on the people who have done it.

This short story introduces some of the characters, who will be in the next part of the book. They all are cruel and vicious. It does explain why the story of Grim began, but doesn’t explain the story of the Grim itself. I would’ve liked to know the story of the Grim, how he was born, how he became Grim, as a prequel. And yes, the story told could’ve been as the follow up. But I think author left the juicy bits of the Grim for later…
