HIS LORDSHIP'S GIFT is a short story, fitting in between books 2 and 3. In it, it is Christmas time but with everything going on recently, Dominick had completely forgotten about it. What follows is a delightful story of him looking for ideas and giving, what he thinks, is best for Alfie.

A sweet story for these two, giving a bit of lightheartedness to them following all the drama. A quick read but thoroughly enjoyable nevertheless. Definitely recommended by me, so long as you've read the prior books.

Suikoden, and the series that it spawned, is one of my favorites. Here, you play as the son of an imperial general who, by a matter of circumstances, becomes the head of the rebellion. Collect 108 characters in multiple sidequests--a pretty ambitious effort for the time. But what really makes Suikoden stand out from the pack of JRPGs of the 90s is its story. Suikoden doesn't flinch away at the harsh realities of war and what it can do to a country, family, and individual.

I'm gonna start right off the bat and say I felt that this could of been one whole book instead of a series. They were all just short parts of one whole novel. But anyone, I enjoyed this book series very much. It was the right amount of erotica scenes with a real love story story line, that held up nicely. I liked the main characters Sebastian and Aria, and I liked their tragic backgrounds as well. I blew through this series in two days and I would recommend it to anyone who likes not too steamy but isn't shy about sex erotica novels.

The Guest (The Chosen Chronicles #0.5)

This is a short story than can be read alone or can go along with "The Chosen Chronicles" series. The Guest, from the title, is residing at a Buddhist monastery, and the reader gets to see how he handles the ideas of Death, Karma, and Reincarnation, especially when they deal with someone he considers a close friend.

While the story is only a few pages in length, the imagery is wonderful, and I could fully visualize the monastery, the monks, and the Guest. This little snippet makes me want to dive right into the series and read more of Ms. Dales' work right away!

My daughter loves both Unicorns and Peppa Pig so I thought this would be a great one to get from the library. It's a great little story and the book itself is just stunning to look at. The front cover is a beautiful blue and is covered in glitter, the artwork is very good and the story itself is cute and well written. My 3 year old does have a bit of a short attention span when it comes to books which are a bit wordy so I might re-visit this one again when she's a bit older. Highly recommended for children who love Unicorns and Peppa Pig.
